Thanks for putting this on The Tube. Yes real racing and car set up by trying settings. Engine development was the same. No ecu's, no throttles bodies, no wind tunnels, tyres about just good enough but only just. Seat of the pants driving. Most doing ordinary jobs during the week. To boldly go where no teams had gone before. Just magic

Fantastic stuff!! Surprised that fuel injection was being used then! Presumably those huge Falcons were in a different catagory to the smaller engined cars?
