It's quite funny how everyone can't understand what Matty is singing. He is one of those singers who still has his accent while he's singing. A lot of british artists seems to have an american accent while their singing and everyone is kinda used to that. It's different with Matty and that's why is hard to understand what he is saying, but when you read the lyrics everything makes more sense (obviously). Second, he does have a voice quite nasal and it's clearly that not everyone will like it but it works for him and for the band. If you search for other songs that are more slow like fallingforyou or me, he doesn't sound THAT 'nasal' at all.

Yeh. It's Greg (G) in the Park. It's supposed to resemble a festival. Greg set it up this year just for a bit of a laugh. Who knows whether it will become a yearly thing, I'd like it to be and get Radio 1 get run competitions to get a crowd to it was a few decent acts.

aubrey x That's not really true... they don't really have a 70's sound at all... they have quite a contemporary one with quite glitchy production. They're called The 1975 because Matty had a text book that was dated something along the lines of "8th of May The 1975", and he thought that was unusual and so chose that name... its nothing to do with their kind of music... They're certainly going to be using each of their own personal influences that could possibly be from around then, but i don't think it directly affects the music :) Not having a go, by the way!
