I think he honestly respected and appreciated her well thought out and interesting questions and rewarded them with such in depth and honest responses. More interviews like this because he can definitely deliver on a higher level than constantly being asked where the damn name came from. Well done.

i just love how he really doesnt care what anyone else says and he's just there smoking and crossing his legs and like "uhm okay... yes." Plus, really, his choice of words and vocabulary is ace. He really sees things in a very unique perspective and the way he depicts what he sees using his words is just.... wow.

This is by far the best interview with Matt Healy I've seen; as a viewer you can tell how engaged, relaxed, and genuinely happy both Matty and the interviewer were. An absolute breath of fresh air, and it answered a ton questions I'd had too (thank you loads for asking about Antichrist, it's a song that's really close to my heart and that I've always been extremely curious about) AND about his thoughts on the internet. So intriguing, thank you thank you thank you xxx

This has to be my most favorite interview of Matty. I like how he got down on such a deeper level with you guys than he really has with any other interview. Lovely!

He's such a unique person, but yet so relatable. I feel like I know him on a personal level. You're questions seemed to allow him to express himself as well as a song. All around great journalism, hope to see you interview the rest of the band.

When he got up and you smiled at the camera my heart melted a little bit. You were obviously super excited but still gave a wonderful interview. You go, gir!

Great job on the interview by the way. It's very genuine and personal, I also love the fact that it's 20 minutes long so you get the actual feel of what type of person he is. Rather than typical 10 minutes videos that tell you nothing. Great job!

this is just, GREAT. So many interviews are the same questions over & over, and frankly, they're boring. But I don't know if you're genuinely a fan, or did your research, but these questions are awesome. Matt seems really interested and involved, therefore more interesting for us! This is so refreshing and great. Keep up the good work!

Both :) I am a fan but also did my research as I was getting sick of the same 'hows your year been', 'why the name the 1975', etc questions. I'm glad it comes across in the video how much he liked our interview! I met him again recently when they were in Melbourne and said he recognized me because he remembered how good he thought our interview was. So flattering. And I'm so happy about the fact that others seem to enjoy and appreciate questions that provoke a more personal answer! Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice comment. :)

Im actually so glad that this interviewer did her research instead of asking the same questions over and over again Like "Why is your band called The 1975" or "who's your influences" This interview was refreshing!

I didn't know that Matty was an atheist as he constantly wears thestar of David around his neck and the red string on his wrist protecting against the evil eye. There's nothing wrong with believing in something. I'm not against athiests either. Sometimes i think people say that just to sound cool.
