Can we just say the bridge from the album version is just WAY MORE powerful than ep version? It just conveys the despair of the charachter for wanting to be with this girl to the fullest but being just limited by a sexual affair. It sounds angsty yet centered and well mastered and it just says so much about who The 1975 are

Gay 2 years older Samuel here: the punch the drums and matty's guitar riff bring are the one thing that conveys the angst, and in the moment right before the breakdown - and during the breakdown itself - it's ross and adam who bring it all home with their riff. Add that to a lack of chorus, and you get a musical masterpiece with rather simple music. That pure teenage angst that just itches, you can physically feel it with this track. This is, effectively, my favorite song from the 1975. Both from a lyrical and a musical standpoint. Can't wait for the next album (tomorrow, for future readers)
