I know this was years ago, but why why why why why??? This was not just a boat. This was a project, an experience, and in the end a perfect result that not even a brand new boat can provide. But most importantly, it had a huge piece of you in it which cannot be bought. That sort of pride and satisfaction has no price. I understand circumstances can dictate decisions, but after watching this amazing journey, very sad to see this incredible boat let go...

Best of luck Jay, I've grown to love this boat over the past three years. You have no idea how tempted I am to bid, but as my wife would point out, we already have a boat. I can't thank you enough for the videos, they have been a great help in the projects I've worked on with my boat.

All your videos have been excellent, helpful and enjoyable! thank you so much for them. They have been and will continue to be wonderfully helpful as I get back into the old '72 Glastron GT140 I picked up for a project last year. Happy trails to you, my friend! And yeah, this boat is a real bargain for someone!

Sir I must say the work done on that boat is impeccable. I was stunned to see the 2 inch riser you built under the drivers seat which is nothing short of pure genius. What I can’t figure out is why the manufacturer doesn’t do this.?You have created a 2 inchRiser under the driver seat where water can never settle which basically tells me it’s better than manufacturer perfect. I would love to have this boat for my very own. Kudos to you.

Having watched all of the restoration videos I must say you're asking a lot less than I would have guessed. Whoever buys this will have hit the jackpot at that price :) So what's the status of the big boat from the ice storm a few months back?
@FriscoBoatersGarage11 жыл бұрын
You can only ask what the market will give. I hope it goes for alot more, as we have over 20K invested. The big boat will be fixed soon.

Wow! I didn't know you sold her! I was just catching up on some of your videos and was blown away. You put so much heart and soul into her. I plan to use your videos as a guide, they're extremely helpful.

What happened. I saw the action on ebay, after the fact. What an insult. That boat is well worth the asking price. I think most were like me, they saw it to late. If I were in the market I would jump on it. Like many others, I am in the middle of a restoration that's gonna take a while. Your video's were an inspiration and I hope you don't get discouraged. actually, take back the insult part of my last statement. other than the fact that it did not sell on ebay directly, I don't know if it sold at or not. All I know is that you ended it. It was kind of nuts that the only bid was for a dollar.

The buyer asked for the sale to be private. We had it listed through other websites as well (as ebay has not been the best for selling boats) and he Called me the morning of the auction end and bought it sight unseen.
