Man, I miss and love this song so much. circus Maximus is the best Prog rock band to ever live. I love Dream Theater just as much, but this song just surpasses dream theater in so many ways.

There are a few bands that thad masterpieces of this lenght or similar: Symphony X, Haken, The Flowerkings, Spock's Beard, Neal Morse, Transatlantic, etc.

@@magoelder9079 Symphony X! That's a band that knows how to compose a great epic, without ever boring you. (The Odyssey, The Divine Wings of Tragedy, Through the Looking Glass)

I hear Christian themes and concepts in the lyrics. Is this a band of Christian musicians? It wouldn’t be the first time the Christian music scene made my ears stand up proclaim “Wow”!

Is the begining of this music a final boss ost from a SNES game made by Capcom in 90's? 🤣

Is 2:10 a tribute to some another band? I've heard it before from Magnum Opus' Heian Alien remix...

Circus Maximus's album came out in 2005. Purgatory Nuclear Fusion came out in 2010. Seems it's pretty obvious who "borrowed" the riff from whom... :P
@Darkagma11 жыл бұрын
lolpawnage It's not about who borrowed or stole anything. It just seems that prog bands like to reference other bands. It could be possible that both of them referenced something that was created before (I haven't listened all prog songs since the beginning of history, so how could I know?).

consejo sano ACELEREN LAS GUITARRAS Y HAGAN POWER METAL QUE SON UNA BANDA GENIAL NADA QUE ENVIDIARLE A KAMELOT
@contratodomal11 ай бұрын
