Jouko is my favourite strongman and he is the strongest pound for pound strongman ever. Im pretty sure he would've won more wsm titles in early 2000's, but he stopped competing before that at a young age, what a shame.

@adumah caleb Just mean't that he could've been 1 of the most succesful strongmen ever. And his fans would've liked to see him competing in 2000's. Ofc he lives his own life and imo he was a smart guy to stop before he got injured.

@@trumpjongun8831 I actually agree with both of you, had he gone on to do more i think he could have took another title at least and he is without doubt lb for lb the strongest, 3 wsm competitions 1st 2nd and 1st and he only begun powerlifting in the early 90's, that's just phenomenal. I also agree that maybe he felt in him self for his frame and size that it would be tough to keep up with those bigger guys, or that maybe he just felt he had achieved what he wanted to and was happy. Either way, he is in my top 3 strongmen of all time it would be criminal to not place him there having achieved so much so quickly and beating much larger men, that makes his victories quite huge so to speak.
