Great visuals, but they need to show actual scale to be more effective. For example,"15T ... lift 31 Eiffel Towers" - but you're only showing 1 Eiffel Tower and no magnet... how can I equate towers to HTS superconductors? Perhaps show 1 magnet (to scale - so it would look like a little dot) with a magnetic field "pillow" holding up 31 towers?? I love you guys and hope beyond hope you succeed!!

What I wanna know is where I can buy some HTS coil. I looked far and wide for a supplier, hoping that one of the industrial companies making it would be willing to at least send me a sample or something, but no luck. This stuff is 'spensive, which is a real shame for goofball garage engineers like myself. I hope this project makes it so the price of the stuff goes down enough that I can buy a spool of it without needing to sell my car.

you have a fridge that can cool down to 20 kelvin and be pressurized to 28 bars?!

@@CyclesAreSingularities I'm not expecting to make a 20T coil or anything. I'd just be doing LN2 stuff.

Don't worry Large Hadron Collider, it's not about how big your magnetic field is, but how you use it that matters.
