Your video gives some detail to what we may have missed in the excitement. I saw the flares/prominences in 10X50 binocs and I did a couple double-takes, then out of caution, reluctantly put the binoculars down as it was going to come out of totality. I really wanted to keep watching! I came here looking to see if I saw what I thought I saw - three distinct groupings at about 1-o'clock, 2-o'clock and 4-o'clock. Wow, what sights. Fascinating video and a rewarding effort! My compliments.

Those are not solar flares, those are solar prominence which are in so called chomosphere. Solar flare is not even a sun feature, it a event of huge energy explosion in active region (aka sunspot), today there was x9.3 flare biggest in this cycle.

I was at Cumberland Mountain State Park Golf Course in Tennessee. I got a lot of still shots at 40X through a Televue 60. I saw the 3 solar prominence in the pictures afterwards. I was overdue for prescription glasses, and waiting too long to get an appointment for an exam and refraction. I had to guess on focus. They still came out pretty good. Your video is awesome.
