The 2021 Ford Bronco 2-Door Manual Is A Highly Desirable, Envy Inducing Off-Road Focused SUV

It's been 25 years since we've seen a new #FordBronco in America. Its back and its really damn good. This #BroncoBlackDiamond 2-Door is the enthusiast friendly option with the 7-speed MT and a starting price of around $36,000. While this #Bronco is missing the off-road ready Sasquatch package, it still proves to be plenty capable off-road while being immensely comfortable on the road.

a lot of people are saying it's just too big. it does have a pretty spacious interior but look what they had to do to get that. as far as exterior size goes, I wish Ford would have considered the first generation bronco more than the last one. they did this in the earlier prototypes which I think were very sharp looking.

@@noredcr Take the new Bronco, and tack on monster tires, grill guard, and fender flares, and it still looks like they're just trying to cover up a boulevard cruiser. A Wrangler LOOKS like what it was built to do; The slab sides of the Bronco and the truck rear end don't show that. The early Bronco prototypes did however. And I'm sorry, but that beltline looks just a bit too high, especially on the two-door version.

Ford is coming for you 😂In all seriousness, we love the current Wrangler and Jeep still has edge in the plethora of powertrains and slightly better off-road capabilities with its live axles front and rear. You said it felt safer than the wrangler. I was instantly reminded I almost died a few times in a couple of the older ones. The first time I wasn’t born yet my mom was just about 7 months pregnant with me when a 90s model decided on a trail it would rather be on its top. Later in high school I stumbled on a 67 that didn’t have one good body panel and I patched the frame with well pipe because the thing was already beyond screwed anyway. It had about a 4 inch lift. My friends and I decided to drive to an off road park ignoring the fact it didn’t have tags. We made that 20 mile drive like idiots in the middle of the night. We went off roading and had a grand old time. My patch job failed on that trip and you could just feel it as it gave way. Again it decided it would rather be on its top. It rolled down a hill and we all spilled out as it rolled amazingly everyone was fine. The bronco well it’s still in that park I’m sure the owners of that place were thrilled to find they now had a 67 bronco that couldn’t be easily accessed that was little more than scrap metal. Sometimes I wonder how I survived my youth.

For what it's worth, Sofyan, you're the first journalist to sell me on a non Sasquatch trim of the Bronco. I told myself I'd sooner wait for the manual Sasquatch package pairing Ford "promised" would be coming out next year, which to me would be the dream combination (especially with the LED DRL), but those steelies with the cactus grey is FIRE up close! I'm willing to bet it would hold up on the four-door as well, but this was excellent! Great review man!

Chrysler isn't exactly known for keeping their line-up up to date and I just think that, based on what I know, the Bronco offers more is all. No need to be all stuck up, my guy.

@@miquellopez7185 I live off road. Getting ready for a one week off road trip to Death Valley next week. Underneath, the Bronco is just a Ford Ranger pickup. I does have purdy sheetmetal, but that's mostly it. It'll be an OK trail machine but nothing too extreme. What makes the Jeep special, also makes it not as comfy on road. Can't have both. The Jeep has a solid front axle and electronic disconnect sway bars. That allows the axles to articulate really far. if you do trails like Moab, The Rubicon, Death Valley, Holy Cross City, the Jeep is still #1. If a person does milder trails, gravel roads and commuting, the Bronco will be fine. The Bronco is similar to the now discontinued Toyota Land Cruiser. Both have independent front suspension. That's where I think Ford made a mistake. The front suspension. As soon as we (hardcore off road crowd) saw the IFS we knew the Bronco was not going to be a Jeep challenger except to soccer moms or those who don't know. Watch some King of Hammers videos. King of Hammers is the roughest off road race course. I think you'll find those videos quite interesting.

For anyone wondering; the rear of the hardtop weighs roughly 100lbs. Not impossible to remove single-handedly if you're comfortable lifting that much over your head. It's easy to handle, without sharp edges. It is not flimsy. With a firm grip on a windless day; no problem removing it by myself.

I love the 2 door forsure the best, true to the original. I would buy my in Big Bend trim in ethier Area 51 color or antimatter blue with rood rack and hardtop molded plastic and Sanquash pkg. But I love my white 2 door 2020 Jeep Rubicon 3 piece hardtop n standard 3.6L v6.

That Cactus Grey in the thumbnail looks like it has a bluish tint, it's very difficult to decide which color it is depending on the sunlight
