Happy Monday everyone! We're starting off our week of videos with the sharper and more efficient new Jaguar F-Pace. How do you feel about JLR's plans to go completely electric in the next few years? This new inline-6 is certainly a nice addition, but we kinda missed the raspy character of the old supercharged V6.

Sofyan, multi-colored 3 zone ambient lighting is standard on the 2021 F-Pace. The extra option is an advanced ambient lighting package with even more color and named color modes (like Red Moon in Mercedes). The ambient lighting is accessible through the settings. Additionally, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto is now available through OTA update.

The F Pace, in my opinion, is kind of underrated. I feel like it doesn’t get the hype it deserves. Specs are decent. Real world performance isn’t all that bad either.
@ChristianRunsNY2 жыл бұрын
My opinion is because it is slow at its base model (like 7 seconds 0-60), you have to pay 15 grand more to get to this performance and then people lean on other popular models with more performance or a lower price.
@P4SDetails2 жыл бұрын
@@ChristianRunsNY Solid take and I respect it. It really isn't the best specked out there. It is clean and has some decent features, but only decent. Nothing earth shattering, which as you mentioned, you pay earth shattering prices. It would be nice to have the features to go with.

You can spec this 400HP trim very nicely for an MSRP in the low $70’s. Just cutting out the performance seats and upgraded interior package alone ( leather dash, etc) will save $5k. Also note the exterior dimensions of the F-Pace are somewhere between an X3/X5, Q5/Q7 and Macan/Cayenne which contributes to its large cargo space of 70 cu ft. and makes it feel more like a mid-size SUV versus a compact.

Spot on review. The Fpace is a beautiful car but overpriced. You can get more for your money on other competitors. Even the base model is still expensive. In the US, I believe the cheapest new Fpace is mid-to upper $50k. Tack on additional options and taxes, easily $60k range for base model. No wonder it is such a rarity to see a Jag on the road.

I have a 2017 F-Pace R-Sport with the 3.0L V6. This new powertrain is so quiet, in comparison. The outgoing V6 was an excelllent powertrain with a fantastic stock exhaust note. I don't know why they felt the need to re-invent the wheel and strap on all this life support to the engine. That being said, I'm not crazy about the dashboard layout either. It doesn't look good. The old one looked better, they just used cheap materials. Pivi Pro is an upgrade from the ITCP in my model, though. Looking past all my gripes, this is one smooth kitty.

This is one of the best, if not the best looking crossover in its segment and at this price point. Sorry, not sorry, Genesis. I just hope they don't replace their supercharged 5.0 V8 with the very unreliable BMW 4.4 twin turbo V8 like they did in the Range Rover.
@williamegler87712 жыл бұрын
Why would a Jaguar use BMW components? BMW sold JLR years ago and no longer supplies engines to them.
@damilolaakanni2 жыл бұрын
@@williamegler8771 🤷🏽 the 2022 Range Rover uses the same 4.4 TT V8 in the X7. Don't know why they went down that route, but it wasn't a good idea, IMO. That engine burns a lot of oil and cooks the turbos. And it probably doesn't sound as good as the 5.0 supercharged V8.
