I remember when Kia and Hyundai were what you didn't want, talk about a company that went from ground up, always making reliability and then slowly worked out the kinks of the aesthetics. One of my buddies just bought that G80 Genesis SUV from Hyundai...WOW what a car.

I just bought this exact trim model except mine is the Wolf Gray color with black interior. This vehicle is just fun to drive and really good if you don't really need a 3rd row but may need it on occasion. It is definitely a head turner......great review. :)

@@Broker-in-Maine I was able to get slightly less than MSRP after about 6 to 7 hours of back and forth negotiating......playing the game I suppose they all do it to an extent. :) The only things I have found annoying to me personally is having to disable the auto engine off every time I get in the vehicle so it doesn't stop at stop signs and lights. May not bother some people but I don't like it. Just a minor inconvenience having to remember to press it each time I get in the car. It would have been really helpful to have had cup holder lights because in the dark you absolutely can not see to put your drink down. I installed cup lights rather simply so if this is something you want to know more about just comment and I will be glad to direct you where to go to get the correct cup holder lights and where to wire this in the console. The kia remote schedule on the Kia Connect has a mind of it's own. I set a schedule during these cold mornings to start the car in the morning as I am getting ready for work and most times it works, but sometimes I would come out and it hadn't worked and caused me a bit of a mistrust and worry about whether or not it worked so I wound up starting it myself with the key fob. Sometimes when I pull out of a median fast , and on dry pavement the gas will be a bit weird and you will see the slippery sign come on like it caught loose gravel....but this has only happened a few times and it goes away and acts normal in a few seconds.....just freaks me out a bit when it happens. Where it is a wet clutch dual clutch it will feel a bit weird or it did to me when backing up and pulling out....like it wants to jerk it into gear. Odd feeling but you get used to it and soon forget about it. As far as real issues....I now have almost 3,000 miles on mine and no issues and I absolutely love driving it and I am sure you will as well. The things that I have listed are simply personal preferences for the most part, but will give you a bit of insight. :)

One more thing to add that I wish it had that it doesn't, automatic wipers would have been great. I guess that just wasn't in the cards for this specific model.......again, not an issue.....but that took some getting used to.

Great review. I got the X-line in all black with. Rust interior and I love it. Only thing is think Kia could have done was wireless Apple Car play. But besides that it’s a great and fun suv to drive.

I have the 2022 Xline AWD I love it, I had the 2021 kia sorento Sx but it was only FWD, had a cleaner trim though, it was a bad oil leak is why I got rid of it

From what I remember, road noise was very minimal, however I was more focused on the engine and exhaust sounds. At certain points in the range I could also hear the turbo kick in which was very cool. I hope this helps.

The only concern I have is the sunroof. Is there any way to block the sunroof so that the car would be dark without so much sun light?

The sunroof comes with a huge sunshade that you can slide close to keep the sunlight out.
