They really need to add a "BC" build version of this bike. I got the 2022 c70 and the first thing I did was upgrade the front 2-piston to 4-piston brakes; it was a dramatic improvement on descending capability and peace of mind. I don't understand why they gave this bike incredible descending geometry but weak 2-piston brakes.

Thats a good point. Hopefully Rocky decides to release a version with beefier components!

C 50 version is the one I'm looking at. Would LOVE to know the real world weight of an xl....

I have the c70 xl and it weighed 29.1 lbs or so to give you a reference. The c50 weigh more since the components are heavier

@@outphoxed91 Thank you so much. I have ordered mine. The shop I'm going through is being super cool with 'swaps'. Allowing me to swap out any parts I want, and I only have to pay 'the difference'. I'm doing lighter cranks, wheels, and tires. Shooting to get it closer to 27lbs...

​@@bikebudha01 Congrats on your order. nice! yeah 27lbs range is achievable and you wouldn't have to spend a small fortune to do it. This bike climbs well in neutral setting once you get used to the longer wheel base
