Some small updates: - Per the live announcement, you *can* get the Viceroy's Villa kit from the normal grand prizes (later on though) and the treasure maps. - The defense boosts for attacking armies can stack, but the attack ones can not.

Thank goodness that I don't have to risk missing a ticket because I started too late, like in the wildlife event. I would have liked for this event to actually start in summer tho. Time wise it would work out better for me.

I'm going to love this event, and I'm going to miss spinning the wheel for good, lol. I'd like to say something tho, lately, I've noticed the buildings are a little taller than usual and that can reduce visibility, we'll need to sharpen our city organizing skills, or at some point they'll have to do all around the building roads or implement building rotation. Yes, guys, I love to look at the graphics of my city while I'm playing. And in the Fellowship event, omg that red and that green they used for the Sunhaven Palace and the Legendary Lodge is just too much!!! A little darker would be way more appreciated LOL. The yellow of the Viceroy's Villa looks good tho, 😜

Actually a bigger problem is where the collection icon is. For the trading post, it looks like it should belong to the buildings behind it. You'll see when you build it :)

If I save all my coins for the daily then I can't finish the calendar and get most keys right? Do I need to finish every calendar tile to get the calendar's prizes at the end, or do we get the last day calendar prizes on the last day even if we don't expose each day's tiles? Do I have to expose every calendar tile to win the calendar's final day prizes?

To win the calendar chest, you need to open ever calendar tile. If you complete every daily challenge for key pieces, you should get roughly 14 of them, meaning that there's 18 remaining. If you're focusing on daily specials, it might get a little bit difficult. If you want the best chance at getting the calendar, then I would recommend playing boards every day that you see the calendar key appear, since it only shows up about 50% of the time, and hope that you get it relatively cheaply there. Then, when there's a daily special, try to pick up extra calendar key pieces on those days? I haven't actually done the math to see whether it would be better to try and get extra key pieces, or instead spend on the days where you don't see the calendar key first, so I'm not too sure :)

After you flip the tile, you roll the chips. In this video, he is tossing out 3 chips. I only toss out 2 chips when I roll. I have read two different walk throughs, one says you get 2 chips, and another walk through says you get 3 chips. This is a huge difference in your chances to get to level 9. What is the difference? Does the paid version give you 3 chips, and free only gives you 2 chips?

The video is from beta, where they had three, but still only one or two would be flipped. So it's the same balancing. The numbers in the video are correct.

But arent the free boubloons around 1500? (66×10 fron the missions and around 759 from Daily 25?)

Ah, not quite. You get: 10 starting 100 from milestones 340 (34x10) for rush quests 990 (33x30) for the daily quests 825 (33x25) for the daily free doubloons = 2265 doubloons total. I think you missed the milestones and the change from 10 to 30 doubloons per quest after the rush quests.

Honestly? Same strategy. Just hope you get lucky with the treasure maps. I personally haven't noticed any changes with it; I only saw it once on Beta and haven't seen it yet on live, and I'm not too convinced that its availability was reduced. If anything, I think they might have accidentally made it appear to often at the beginning of the event, and then silently corrected it to what it should have been at launch.

For the questline? I think it's to have you more tied into the event minigame rather than completing quests. At least for this event, it's all rather straightforward to get the upgrades you need.

That's the number of doubloons from all the quests and milestones! So most players should get at least 2265 doubloons.

The treasures are only worth anything if you get a set of prizes that you actually want that's compelling for the price. Some players want good prizes and know they'll buy it, so they shuffle the prizes and try to get a really good set, then purchase it. But for me, I just pick the best of the two options given, get a trash set of prizes, and never buy it lol
