What do you guys think of the new Mustang and what is your new favorite feature? We’re kinda loving the remote rev feature… annoying the neighbors could be fun with that one 🙃 Also, Ford did announce the Hp target after we filmed this, they’re claiming 480+ HP from the 5.0L V8! That’s a bit more than we expected!

@@musickmanful It's a Gen 4 Coyote with dual throttle bodies. New steel oil pan with extra cooling systems for the performance version. The throttle bodies have fresh air tubes that run to the front corners of the front grill. The engines are still being tested, so actual horsepower rating aren't currently available, but the GT performance and dark horse should be solidly over 500 horsepower with a power bsnd over 7000 RPMs. The EcoBoost is also a new version. I have very little information regarding it.

I personally like the previous S550 generation this new update re design mustang is not my taste i haven't been a fan of many of the new cars that have come out this year I'm still not used to the re-design of all of them I think the older generations look better in every way in my opinion

Definitely like the new body style, and hadn’t seen an interior of a recent mustang so what I’m seeing looks great. The only problem will be availability as many automakers are opting to go with an “on-Demand” system whereby you have to order it (with no chance to negotiate the price or test drive the vehicle. Why don’t these morons running these manufacturers and some dealers just put customers first for once and carry cars on the lot like they used to? The ones that do will gain customers and the ones that don’t will lose out.

I really like the exterior design, definitely looks modern. I wished they would have made the dual screen more integrated, it looks like they just throw two tablets together on the dash.

I guess I disagree I think it’s uglier in all regards. Interior looks like it was designed by a jr designer who gets way too hot and bothered when talking about EVs. Exterior looks like it took cues from kia and the Camaro and over all it looks massive. I typically like new car designs but not so much here.

I like the new styling it looks aggressive it's very attractive. I'm not a fan of these digital gauge cluster things. I prefer the analog gauges and actual real buttons. Who do these car manufacturers think they're fooling they're saving tons of money with these cheap screens.

exactly...doubt you will understand but its like when digital synths took over in the 80s.....made all the knobs into buttons and screen menu diving instead for the sake of being "sleek and modern" it was just cost cutting...thankfully knobs came back, but it took DECADES, screens might dominate for years before we see a resurgence of analog gauges

2024?tat will be the first year of the new gen... that trim will not come til very late 20s... the current S550 initiated in 2015 and the first GT500 was in 2019/20

I don’t think they’re going to make another gas powered GT500. I’m almost certain that it will either be a fully electric Shelby or maybe a Hybrid but that’s a big maybe.

@@johng81818 this generation will continue to ve Internal Combustion energy, mainly, probably the 8th gen will be hybrid or full EV, but this going Electric shit will not last much after the lithium prices skyrocket as there is simply not enough of itvon earth so we will br forced to return to Internal combustion but with carbon neutral or carbon positive gass like the one being developed by Porche and nissan

Its a filtered version of the current one. Front looks like a hyundai elantra and a Maserati had a baby. Looks good but a bit dated though. Side looks smoothed out like a bmw 4 series. Rear quarter fender and windows looks like a camaro. Rear is very elantra as well. Remove the lights and it's basically the same shape. The folded crease look. Interior could be anything.

The Coyote V8 in the new S650 is a Gen 4 with twin throttle bodies with air boxes going to the front grill corners. Even the EcoBoost is a completely new engine. The overall S650 is amazing with an interior to match. Ford Lowered the belt line providing more head room. Big improvement over the S550

Looks great aside from the cheap looking dual screens and lack of climate control buttons. Nothing makes an interior look cheaper than screens that aren't integrated into the dash.

Agreed. I don't understand why manufacturers keep doing this. It will not age well. It looks tacky. It is an absolute deal breaker. It could have a 1000 horsepower. I will not own a car with climate controls in the screen, and a computer that probably won't last 5 years stuck onto the dashboard.

I like the fact they widen the rear corner panels to give it a more aggressive look. I was thinking of buying a S550 and putting a wide body kit on it however I think this cut# the mustard for me. Front end styling is more modern/ aggressive as well. All positives from my vantage point.

This side profile looks very Camaro-ish from the end of the door backwards & so does the steering wheel and part of the lower dash and air vents. Those wheels/rims look like they ripped them straight off a BMW M3/M4. Overall not too bad looking though. Maybe looks way better in person.

The one thing I don’t like is the interior screens.. I have screens in my face all day long at work. I don’t want two more when I drive my Mustang. Can you imagine the cost to replace that huge screen if it fails outside of warranty?? And how many vehicle functions are locked out if the screens fail??

They really need to incorporate the touch screen INTO the dash, not screw a couple screens ONTO it. It's kinda like, "Hey, let's modernize this, I have a couple ipads here, anyone got a screwdriver?" Climate controls on a touch screen will be difficult while driving, real buttons and dials are the way to go IMO. Other than the screens, decent looking!

Try pulling up on on the lever under the shift knob like the previous generation mustang to engage reverse. Jamming the shifter repeatedly into first and wondering why the back up camera isn’t coming on should be a tell tale. Know your product before you film 🤦🏻‍♂️

As a former 2015 and current 2020 model owner, I think they've done a good (not great) job at modernizing this car. The interior, which needed it most, I am happy to see has been thoroughly modernized (especially heated and cooled Recaros). The updated consoles and displays are lights out in my opinion...wonderful job! The front and rear fascias I was not a fan of initially but they're at least cohesive and clean as opposed to what GM initially did with the 6 gen Camaro. I really love some of the new color options...this blue is sick. Overall, I'm impressed with what they've done and I'll be in line to scoop up the Dark Horse.

The unimaginative and expressionless board-like display borrowed from Mercedes cannot be glossed over even with the reason given and is a big step backwards compared to the perfect synthesis of digital display and traditional design in the previous model and a stylistic worst case. The restrained presentation in the manufacturer's publications is striking and well-founded. The perfect exterior of the predecessor had to be changed somehow on the occasion of the model change as well. That's OK, but I'm looking for an improvement here in vain. The facelift of the predecessor should therefore go down in the history of the Mustang as its stylistic highlight.

Not a fan, it looks like a cross between a Camaro and a Charger. As far as the interior goes the screen is a nice upgrade but the rest looks cheap. Of course it will mostly come down to horsepower and price, I will be passing on this one, will stick with my 2016 modified ecoboost in ruby red for now.

Unreal Engine is the game engine, Epic Games is the company. edit: 14:24 If you didn't notice, the interior was designed to resemble the Foxbody Mustangs interior. Hence why there is a Gauge Cluster option named that.

Wow! They really butchered the rear end. I see where they were trying to go with it but this ain’t it. It’s kind of cool to see how people once trolled GM for their interior designs and now manufacturers are copying their interiors so unapologetically. Interior is certainly reminiscent of the latest GM interiors i.e; Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Blazer EV, Chevrolet Silverado EV.

Way too conservative in its design. If this was the last version of the coyote 5.0 it should've had a more classic design with elements of the old verses trying to drift into the electric car design mode. The rear end is the best feature even without the added wing.
