With that Tourpak being so stripped down. No speaker pods and no rear brake/run/turn lights, Harley should have included the removable Tourpak mount with these bikes.

Yeah I know. That's one of the major gripes I had. There was a lot of stuff that Harley should have included.

Yes but they don't look like they fit or would provide the protection needed. I have had a few customers of mine send me photos of them adding the normal size engine guard and the traditional style lowers on this new generation of touring RG. There was a few minor easy mods. So easy that he said his painter did it. He said that it had to be done with an amazon non popular Chinese brand lower that is same in appearance and quality but it totally fits, works, and looks amazing. Then he got it painted to match his bike. I will text you the photos.

I agree with everything you said. I have a ‘23 RSG with a chopped tour-pak with the light bar and a ‘24 CVO ST. I’m enjoying the long rides so I was hoping to see a CVO Road Glide Limited because I could use a king tour-pak for storage and my wife is starting to ride with me more and she would definitely be more comfortable with the king.

Yes absolutely. I kinda feel like they have forgotten that many married or partnered rider need to include their spouse in the purchase yet you have to make so many other purchases for these models that have came out just to provide a comfortable ride for a passenger. If they made a bike that totally accomodated a passenger like the used to with the rear heated seat that came with it, rear volume controls like they used to, rear outlets, and things to accommodate a passenger then it could make it easier for the rider to make the purchase because taking there spouse to buy the bike they can say look hunny it has heated soft seat for you in the rear, a back massager, a usb plug, wifi, matching communication headsets. Something to make it an easier purchase for the married couple. They are like Tesla now and seem like they have the attitude that these bikes sell themselves so they have forgotten about customer needs and selling shells and we have to create our own style. I would like to buy something done already. Other companies don't put their customers through this.

Wonder what the plan was for the tour glide bracket. I've heard some people like it high up, because traffic or toll cameras can't see it. IDK. .

That's true. So on the previous ultra and limited or police models when that bracket was installed then there was only a rear tail light assembly on the rear fender. Having both is an area that they could have cost saved and used that money for speaker pods or saddle bag speakers.

Yeah. I was disappointed that they didn't but would have been even more disappointed if they did the Road Glide Limited like they did the Street Glide Ultra. I am hoping for a nice CVO Road Glide Limited mid year release that isn't disappointing. Not sure how HD will compete with other brand moto companies like Honda, BMW, Indian, or Victory, or even Suzuki for that matter putting out basic motorcycles without even a gloss black or a color matched inner fairing.

Straight gospel, they went back 28 years in progress. This is the design of the original electra glide classic. No lights on the tour pack. No speaker pods. No intercom or CB. This was the bike people bought who couldn’t afford an ultra classic. The only difference is they added lowers. Myself I’ve purchased the ultra limited since 2011. I won’t purchase a new bike. Just to say I have a new bike. My CVO limited is staying in my garage. We shall see if Harley chooses to give their customers what they want. Great video.

Gotta be honest, outside of the CVO’s, Harley hasn’t really done much for me. When they released the current generation SG and RG, I thought it was definitely a step in the right direction but the non CVO versions still felt a little underwhelming. The only problem with the CVO is that it costs way too much. Even if I could afford it, I can’t, I still couldn’t justify dropping that much money on a bike. I’m not saying all that to trash the bike, they are nice bikes, I just feel like they could’ve done more for the lower tier models.

Yeah. I know what you mean. I understand the feeling about the lower tier models. The pricing on the CVO is really something, but I'm hoping for a change with the new models in the future. In the past they sold standard versions and then a special. The current RG and SG to me certainly look like standard with the regular foot controls from old models and the flat black inner fair and no mid body center engine heat shield.

Sorry. The prices were not on there but dealerships sell at their own pricing so I wouldn't have been able to provide that without asking a manager about each bike and we know how they want to go back and forth instead of just having a sticker price or going what's on the HD website. I don't even ask anymore unless I am buying and then I have to go back and forth from their. It's a process that I hate about buying one. It's never what is shown on the corporate website.

Seem to me that Harley and Indian always copy off each other like Marvel vs DC. I personally don’t care for the speaker pods on the tour pack or the light bar but I do agree that having the license plate bracket on 2 different areas is sort of weird

Not for now but sad that they wouldn't do that for their most highest anticipated model. H-D has no flagship model to compete with its competitors feature wise, style, touring, and design. The last model Limited that had it all was the 2023 CVO Road Glide Limited Anniversary Edition. The last of the best. The 2024 Road Glide Limited is still available on floors that include it all but its not the new infotainment screen and front fairing. Personally, I sold my newest edition model and went back to the previous model but mine is a 2024 with old front end. No issues. Had several recalls and issues with new model BCM, ECU, infotainment, not starting , kickstand mode stuck, tip over mode stuck, having to unplug the main fuse to reset, etc. etc.

There's no CVO Road Glide because they had one last year.... These did not make a Street Glide last year .... They also don't make a CVO model every year for every bike.

Thanks for the comments brother. I understand. I was referring to the CVO Road Glide Limited. Yes they did make the CVO RG last year for 2024 and 2023 1/2 (mid year release), and 2023. But no new change in the regular RG limited edition since the start of the Rushmore M-8 114 motor. There has not been a CVO Limited 117ci since the anniversary edition since 2023 like in the video. It was not the new generation Helix fairing model with 117 for standard or 121ci for CVO. Yes there is a 2024 Road Glide Limited but it is the old generation rushmore fairing non infotainment screen and it's a 114 ci. The Road Glide Limited and the Trike Models remain the same 114 ci. However, to keep H-D ahead of the game they have to make epic changes to keep up with other model Flagship Edition Bikes. They have no competitor bike for the new Goldwing, Indian, BMW or other 2025 touring model bikes. Other brands bikes for 2025 and previous have Dual Clutch Transmissions, Airbags, Automatic Windshields, Heated Seats from factory, paddle shifting, reverse, rider assist, lane assist, heads up display, steering control, automatic push button suspension. etc. The new bike with infotainment screen, I had so many issues that I had to go back to previous model and I still get recall notices from my new gen CVO. There was BCM and ECU issues, Kick stand no start issues, tip over no start issues, regular no start issues, infotainment update issues requiring that 2 usb thumb drives be used, Glove box storage units on the front inner fairing popping open while riding, I had to pull the main fuse all the time to reset bike for it to start. I did have full warranty and maintenance package but the bike stayed in the shop under warranty and recalls. Through it all I still loved the bike and miss it but I had to divorce the bike and get another Harley. It's the addiction that keeps up going. Every HD owner knows the addiction but also has a list of something to look out for or fix or tighten on their bike. We all ride with more tools on our bikes than we do in our cars. I am all for it and keep doing it over and over because I am a Harley-Davidson Junkie Addict. Its my drug of choice. Love hate relationship.
