We got the 2025 wind plus version. We absolutely love the car and for most trips in Southern Quebec, it’s plenty, though when you do trips longer than seven hours, we’re gonna miss the faster charging of other cars, I’m sure. I do slightly regret not getting the wave version, especially here in Quebec, where we have $12,000 rebate instead of only the federal 5000. My main reasons for regretting are that I would’ve loved memory seats and heated in back, and also the vehicle to load (asked dealer about update in future for wind versions, and he said not possible, the physical charger is different. Who knows). And the other main thing is that I find the sound system on the wind plus to be not that great. I didn’t realize how important sound was to me until we got it and I think I would’ve really liked the better sound system in this version. (Oh, and FYI we love the front charging port in the middle of the car. So much easier everywhere.)

Got my 2025 Niro EV Wind+ Cityscape green 2 weeks ago.... gorgeous! The fit and finish puts Teslas to shame. There are sooooo many options and features that come standard. For example, the driver display can be changed to reflect time of day with backgrounds of distant vistas instead of the ones we saw. Also, when you press and hold the driver mode button, snow mode is activated so thare are actually 4 driving modes. Very cool.... When my salesperson gave me the tour of the car's fucntions the car was playing ambient space music that is built in to the media function. Very zen introduction to my new car. :)

I think charge ports should be standardized to be under the rear license plate like those old 70's cars gas tank. Hidden, doesn't get iced up as much. If it was standard to be within a certain square you could even have automated chargers so you just hit a button and your license flap opens and the charger lines up and plugs in for you.
