It's a shame that he is not the music director anymore. The Chicago Symphony in my opinion made a massive mistake when they hired Klaus Makela as their new music director. He's too inexperienced. They should've kept Muti as music director for life. Still, it must be brilliant to still see Muti when he does come to Chicago as music director emeritus for life

@angelosclassics05 I think Klaus Makela will be terrific. The Chicago Symphony is one of the world’s great orchestras, and he’s a great conductor. His youth is irrelevant.
