You guys missed one sense in relation to sight, Depth Perception! That's definitely got to be a sense of its own. As anyone who's done LSD or Mushrooms can tell you depth perception is something we really take for granted until we loose it hahaha. You don't need to do drugs to loose your sense of depth though, there's a rare condition called "Alice in Wonderland syndrome". People who suffer from it can't properly tell objects sizes. It's really abstract and hard to understand if you've never experienced loosing it because it sounds absurd to say you can't tell if your cat or sofa is larger or if something is 10ft or 1/2 a mile away. But that is another sense that most of us take for granted!

@Matityahu-the-God
@Matityahu-the-God 2 жыл бұрын
I don't feel like it's that hard to tell. If you don't have a lot of information to tell you how far objects are relative to each other, it's hard to tell their respective sizes from a distance. Like how it's hard to tell how big an object is in space if you don't know it's distance.

@@mralarming5208 I reject empathy being a sense, without proof of it. We have logic and reason. Those can explain why we feel empathy from the information we gather from our other senses. It dosnt take some random sense to gather information that someone is sad. U can see and hear it in the way they act, speak , and talk. That in no way means we have to consciously think of it. It could just be subconscious.
