I needed to hear this.. I'm tired of faking bible quotes(knowing the bible) so when I'm around people who quote the Bible to me I don't feel left out or dumb.. so I always throw an AMEN, hallelujah, or God is Good out there; when honestly I don't know much, haven't been to church in awhile. I try to live right by God, I just don't talk or add bible quotes to every conversation. I feel like I had to go to church so others could see me there not because I wanted to be. Here is where I am.. confused, doubtful wondering why I'm not annoited like the rest of the people in church.

Because you are not fully committed. For it is written: Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you. As a result, you have to make the first move. Therefore, if you were to treat church=college; and your text books=Bible, that you will need to study EVERYDAY in order to graduate ON TIME=EARNING MY DEGREE=ANNOITING, then there will be no doubt or confusion. However, when we straddle the fence, wanting the benefits of salvation, but also wanting to still enjoy the "temporary" pleasures of this world through sin; thinking that FATHER GOD FORGIVE ME moves us to the front of the line vs those who are living holy; like an Apple Computer=Apple of His Eye, that does not need to use the Norton Antivirus=forgive me for the same sin over and over again, then you are deceiving yourself if you think you are going to receive His best for you: James 1:7.

You do not want a burnt offering. The sacrifice You desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God"....God loves you dearly beloved. İ used to be an addict and the only reason I became an addict was because İ tasted marijuana, the bible says "oh taste and see that the Lord is ood"...the only reason you are not committed is because you cannot do it on your own, so you really need to taste Jesus and all He wants you to do is "acknowledge that you're broken, and acknowledge that He dies to set you free, then ask Him to be your Lord and savior". Then the power that raised up Christ will come into you and The Genuine Love of God will overwhelm you! He loves you!!

Drop a pin pastor! Thank you Holy Spirit for this word today... As a Christian it feels overwhelming to constantly be great and maintain "perfect". Pastor Mike, your words are healing for my spirit. My marriage has been in this difficult place for a few years and last year, I had to stay anchored in order to stay obedient and not leave because my flesh wanted to quit. We are still in the middle of of this tough season, BUT GOD has been challenging my self awareness and breaking familiar spirits off of me. He is healing me and even though it may not be happening fast enough for my preference, i will be obedient HERE. Recently, my whole week was just upside down. One night, I was just so down and drained. I told God I'm sorry, but I can't praise you with joy. I'm very uncomfortable with my circumstances.I appreciate all things you do but today I can't do it .I did my psalm prayer before bed the next morning I got a financial deposit from my uncle letting me know that he appreciated my works and effort in coordinating his tech workshop. Whoa!!! He's talking to me and you..on some of the same things. Dude!! My moms alarm clock went off the other day when I reach a breakthrough noble study..i found treasure..answers and her alarm clock went off. She isn't here and hasn't been for some time. Now listen it went off at 8pm..something is coming on or by my birthday 7/18 April is actually the first month of the new..so it could be October before it happens. I was listening to this sermon on Spotify and I had to come and comment here. The message really spoke to me because of this chapter in my life. I am so focused on the future and thinking I’ll be happy when I get certain things in my life yet I am currently living a life a prayed and fasted to God for but I’ve been so ungrateful and forgetting that I’m living in an answered prayer. Because of this, Im missing what God is trying to do in me in the present. I need to appreciate the present more.

Here I am God. I’m struggling with depression, trauma, insomnia, hatred, hopelessness , anger, lust, despair, doubt and pride. Sometimes I wonder where you’re at God and want to give up. I’m tired of this cycle of pain. I know I’m where I’m suppose to be and hate it. I can do so much more. I’ve be wrongly persecuted, abused, and abandoned. Give me hope and strength God. Show me my purpose. Let me be able to discern your voice. Help me to believe and trust in your God. Because Im so tired and I want to give up. I’ve been waiting for so long I lost myself. Help to find me again. Here I am God.

This is so good. I've been so fixated and then and getting there because here is not where I want to be. I get so frustrated with the very thing I asked for and have here. I don't like this job. I don't like feeling unseen by family and feeling used up and never considered or concerned for. And I feel like I'm standing in quicksand, moving with good intention but constantly sinking.

I had said after 7yrs, this 2022 I needed God to take me to the place called there. I had had enough being in one place. But this series continues to give me understanding and revelation that HERE IS HOLY. In this 8th year of New Beginnings, I surrender to Him HERE. Honestly, for me it's not about getting to there, it's about filling my life with stuff and distractions so I don't have to focus on here because here is where the fear, pain, and hurt is. Here is where I have to deal with me. Here is....my location. I avoid and fix, and am anxious because I do struggle with trusting God, but I know I have him here. It's the fear of releasing here to go there.
