His father didn't give him the deed to his house. Mr. Ballen "fibbed" in the beginning of the story, to make it a little less predictable. He said near the end, that the court had ordered that the deed be transferred to the son.

The lie detector test only shows that that woman truly BELIEVES she saw Arnold but that doesn't mean it was really him.

A lie detector test doesn't determine whether you believe something or not because they are not real. All it determines is the stress on your voice from an increase in your heart rate and respiration. That's it.

Exactly. A lot of people seem to misunderstand lie deterctors as being some magical devices, that can uncover objective truths of the universe, lol. They simply measure whether the person talking either believes what they saying or has the ability to remain totally controlled when telling a lie.

There is no such thing as a lie detector.

Love these episodes! Mr. Ballin said that the corner said the couple died of exposure. And the FBI ruled homicide out. I’m thinking there was enough water in the ditch to sweep them both away. and the door slam was her last ditch effort to grab it .And since they were both found in the ditch,one just went further than the other. and the difference in the decomposition might could be attributed to the way they froze and thawed out differently.(due to their different locations.) this definitely could leave me theorizing all day. I wish I knew the answer.😁👊

The second and third stories were quite strange with a bad clif hanger 😂😂😂. The third story would have many possibilities but would only be speculation but is a good brain teaser. 😂😂😂😂

I honestly think they got hit by a plow. His body was probably under more snow/ice being out first, which would have kept his body in a better state. The tuff of hair probably came off when the bodies were being pushed. A plow flying by would have slammed the door shut too. Or the snow flying off the road. Sounds like one of those freak accidents that its some Final Destination type shiet.

I'm just as pissed off as you are. What's the point of telling a story if you don't have the ending to it.
@lavilygalaxy454125 күн бұрын
well it was still a interesting and weird story, unsolved cases are still nice as well, who knows could get people interested enough in the case to maybe help solve it, has happened before

@lavilygalaxy4541 And that was the value of that series that was on for so many years on soft mysteries. Get a story after the public. Or maybe you'll get lucky from at least 1 person that can help. Anyway, Happy New Year. Thanks for the comment on my comment.
