Unfortunately when one grows up this way it's hard for one to differentiate between what is abuse and what is supposed to be acceptable. I love this list! I put a sign on our door that says ‘You are entering a drama free zone! Kindly leave all drama outside or in your vehicle. Any drama not picked upon leaving will be completely forgotten about, making it null and void! Cheers’! 98% of people laugh hysterically at it and the 2% it was aimed at were unamused 🤣. It works though, they start anything negative, gossiping, etc., we remind them of the sign and tell them to take it outside.

If your situation is beyond this . Then it's time to take steps yourself to make a change.... But have a goal in mind first , before you begin this ... As an example , if you need them to change whatever that may be , decide what they must do , tell yourself what you want instead.. make stepping stones towards that..... If they can't walk on your stepping stones . It is time to move on . Don't be afraid of that, your life deserves happiness. Very few people remain together for ever.. we come into others lives for a reason , and that is to learn something , then move on to the next phase of our lives , and the process starts again 🤷🏻. Hi I used to be a Christian and was confirmed when I was 50 years old. I believed 100% everything I’ve been told, and then I started reading religious books dozens of them and I realised that what we were taught in the church did not bear what happened in history , I was told all our troubles were because of our free will, but when I asked my vicar , if one man had his hand on the nuclear button, and could destroy all the world, would God, then intervene, and he said he hoped so, this did not sound like a caring god to me at all, and I started to question why the tsunamis , the plagues, the famine, the earthquakes, the floods, mosquitoes, which killed millions, every year, went unstopped by a guard who we were told, was all knowing all powerful and all caring. I now realised that no one can be all three ,if you know and have the power and do nothing you do not care. I found myself making excuses for God why these things were happening why the Catholic priests who were praying every day we’re allowed to get away with what they did by the ones higher in the system, I then gave away my belief I did not lose it. I gave it away as I didn’t need it anymore. I do not know if there is a God or a creator, but what I do know is it he is not never was a loving caring God the evidence is all around us. the plagues

That sounds like the kind of "blueprint" an abuser would come up with. My own experience has been that SOME people (not all, but some) refuse to take a hint until I make it personal and get angry - REAL angry. In other videos on Stoic values that I have watched it was expressed that a Stoic looks at all possibilities before making a decision including negative outcomes so that they are prepared for all circumstances and can meet all outcomes with a stable mind and emotions. This video seems to suggest that a Stoic only allows one kind of thinking in his or her house...a peaceful, positive, and non-judgemental attitude. How can anyone come to a balanced decision if noisy, judgementmental, and negative thoughts are excluded. It seems that if you took this advice you would end up alone and misinformed. You would also have to remove your TV, cable, and internet. Are you sure this isn't a misplaced Tony Robbins video?

Those that were tortured and their land taken from them? Yeah, didn't think you'd want to add that to this presentation for it wouldn't live up to the narrative now would it? Ha...we are so desperate for a hero in this world that we seek those individuals of the past that had a few poetic catch phrases that we see as so amazing...when, in truth, it was regurgitated words from someone greater than they, previously. We need to stop putting such persons on pedestals, it just looks desperate. Find the truth in the scriptures and your own knowledge...seek and you shall find.👍
