@@LaredoMontoneri Sorry miscount ... I picked up 2 but one I had only the light works, that one popped out on me so I have 3. 2 600's and a 150ws. Actually doing a branding interview session shooting a new product not even on the market, cannot go wrong with a couple FP's and a speedlight lol

If my gear ain't broke, or there's not a serious advancement in performance to be had, I never upgrade. I'd still be using my Fuji X100s if the leaf shutter hadn't developed a sticking issue, prompting me to grab an X100F, while the difference in autofocus and processing speed was actually enough to justify replacing my Fuji X-T1's with X-T2's. So far my X-T2's are still going strong and there isn't any real advantage in upgrading to X-T4's for me personally. Now if some poor soul fell on hard times and needed quick cash for a full GFX 50 kit... I might be tempted. Lighting is a little different as it's really hard to have enough lights to cover every job. Some times you just have to buy or rent more lights. Once I settled on Adorama's Flashpoint lights I haven't really upgraded, but I have added more of the same lights to my kit even if just for backup purposes.

I think that's the thing. I expect professional working photographers to upgrade much less often than committed hobbyists. If this is what you do for a living, you upgrade when you have to and when you can justify the cost, not just because a new something has come out which you 'simply have to have.'
