statistic wise a good region for private investment , the only drawback is the flow of trade and commerce , connectivity thru the bridges is top priority for this region, the Panay-Guimaras-Negros-Cebu project is one step of many step in the right direction, the approach in funding for private /goverment initiative are a good start, start shovling is the next step
