I use a large plastic box and throw moisture absorbers into it every time I receive one. I also have a dehumidifier I plug into the wall to charge and sit it inside the box.

I tried an ice chest, with closet dehumidifying stuff. It does not really work to actively dry filament though, and it saturates after a few weeks. Found a that food dehydrator is too hot for PLA, but OK for PETG/ABS, and drying desiccant. My new purpose built heat-driven filament dryer works pretty well. Am gonna look for your huge Tupperware containers.

I use a dehydrator to dry my PLA, you need one with adjustable heat is all, so you can stay below the glass temp of PLA.

Gallon ziplock freezer bags + desiccant. Or the Polyalchemy vacuum sealing stuff + desiccant. Still need to catch up on all the Repkord chats on drying/not-drying.

David, your video image is mirrored. :) I buy (shelving) storage containers and throw in my rolls with an open bottle of resettable silica gel beads. When they turn red, every few months, I'll put them on a silicone baking tray and microwave them until they turn blue again.

I have a large tub with a locking lid and gasket as well as desiccant to store my rolls of filament and a dehydrator with adjustable temp to make sure everything is dry before going in. I started with those vacuum bags, just a better version, that actually held negative pressure on the three of five bags that didn't arrive with pinholes from packaging.

My 3d printer room has a huge dehumidifier in it that keeps the room down to 35%. Then big bins with weather seal, and lots of silica packets. Can’t say I have had issues since. I mostly print petg, pla, nylon

The eibos bag's way better and the valve is in the center where it should be for filament.

I use the same type of bags from 3DJake, have some that have been sealed for over a year, still as vacuumed as the day I sealed them.

get better bags? the ones I have (eSun branded) work GREAT. Also a zip lock is fine too.
