It's uncommon for a tech teacher to mention mental and physical health, and yet these are the foundation of everything.

Straight to the point and no BS. Thank you Stefan. Keep it up👍🏼🙂

This is great list. 3 of the 4 are soft skills and I can attest to this. I’ve been at company for 10 years. I’ve Watched the some of the smartest and talented people I’ve ever met come and go faster than me and I’m not even close to those individuals on that. But they all fail on 2, 3 and 4.

I would have entered your bootcamp if I would have encountered your videos before... I find your advise extremely practical... But I already got a mentor, no doubt he is extremely good, but somehow I feel that your mentorship would have provided different introspection into different areas of life as well that would have indirectly affected my programming skills. Thanks a lot for these life hacks...

No worries. I am always here. We have many pro developers in the program, besides the beginners.

Yo Uncle Steph!! Thanks alot for this video. Knowing fundamentals and applying 20min min and 4 hr max was really helpful as I've been battling to put my study time together. Now it's nailed. I've got a starting point rather than being inconsistent. Other tips were also good to hear just to reaffirm a few things for me which Ive started already i.e daily meditation and BJJ. Currently a senior dev building wordpress custom themes and boy does it get stressful. Everything you say is on point. Took me a level higher. Bless. 🙏

I love these drops of wisdom :). After almost 3 yrs in software development I think I got my fundamentals, got my communication (could be a bit better tho), but struggle a bit with habits/discipline and taking care of my health. Starting to realize I gotta force myself to do something about getting too damn fat. It's a pleasure and a privilege to be able to learn from your vast ancient wisdom, uncle!!!

Thanks Stef for sharing, the sound is good with the new setup :)
@randolphpinkle44823 ай бұрын
The sound is still audible, but it lacks the full sonic sound you had earlier in the video. Maybe clip it to your collar? And thanks!
@ravneetgill67313 ай бұрын
Yeah i agree. The sound was better earlier.

@@StefanMischook Agreed with the above comments, I'm running "Steel Series Arctis Nova 7x" headphones (they're quite good, clear degradation in audio when mic moved to hat)
@Nova-TechnoLAB3 ай бұрын
Hello Uncle Stef, the mic is fine, but in post-production see if you can boost the volume level just a little more before you export the media file and upload to KZbin. You are softspoken but carry a big knowledge stick, we just need to hear you a little better. All the best, thanks.

Do you have videos about entrepreneurship and what type of language/stack (front and back end) would be better for fast productivity as entrepreneurs starting their own companies?
@Fariza20002 ай бұрын
1. Master basic fundamental. 2. Learn how to speak with friends (at job). Soft skill. 3. Learn control emotion, if u can control. U can handle any situation. 4. Eat healthy food. Don't junk food.

hi uncle stef, I'm a beginner Java coder and I'm currently trying to build a chat bot application, but the problem is that I just cant get the code to function the way I wanted to. Which is having multiple clients to chat on the same server. I built threads and ServerSocket and Socket and it still don't work. I don't want a technical answer since it might be long, but how can I get through this struggle and get this application to work the way I want. For god's sake my program has ZERO errors and still don't work the way I wanted it to. Do I stop or I keep going until it works?
