Spawn 9 would be a good investment! Angela first appearance. Angela character is owned by Marvel. What if she shows up in a Thor movie? I personally feel with Disney/Marvel track record of movies over Todd's that Angela has a better chance of being on the big screen in the future.

I can imagine most first appearance spawn characters will raise in value especially now that 2021 starts the spawn universe renaissance and everyone is trying to get there hands on the first appearance for the characters especially Gunslinger. So this list is spot one especially the gunslinger first appearance as he is getting his own solo series and is a core character in the universe.

I was driving to the store to buy a Pepsi and I seen a free leftover yard sale sign out by a driveway and there was a box so I Stopped and in it was a little over 45 comic books they were all spawn and all in like new condition the one on top was #1 all the way up to #58 but is missing a few #s in between after listening to you it sounds like I scored. This was the second time this has happened to me the other was a few years back that time it was 2 huge boxes in plastic and cardboard. They each have like 250 comic books also free leftover yard sale

Watched a couple of your videos. Cool man do your thing I guess. There’s no real detailed facts as to why these books are key or why they’re priced so high. They say low print but I’ve seen all these covers in this video pop up in a LCS a few times. Graded maybe not, but investing in comics? I get it, but if you’re looking to get rich buy stocks lol. There’s more to these books than the cover art.

I know nothing about comic's. You keep mentioning 9.8. What does that refer to? I bought three of the #1 issue when it came out because someone (I forget who) advised me to. I don't read comic's so they are untouched! :)

I do not think the black and white Spawn #1 should be that collectible....first of all, it's a reprint....it is not the official first appearance of Spawn. Second, it is not that rare. Spawn Black and White is the retailer incentive for Spawn #65...for every 50 issues ordered, the retailer gets 1. Spawn #65 has a print run of 200k copies. So, Spawn b&w #1 has roughly 4k copies printed. Compared to some retailer exclusives now, that print run is gigantic. The only reason it's getting this much traction is because some collectors mistake it as a 1st edition variant of Spawn #1, and therefore also a first appearance. It is not. It's a reprint of Spawn #1. Any later printing is a reprint....A reprint can never be a "first appearance" issue. So, that said...the only major Spawn "keys" I can think of are the "first appearance" issues...namely Spawn #1....Spawn #174-175 (Gunslinger)....and others....take your pick....i'm not gonna list all first appearances of all the characters in Spawn...

I am not sold that Spawn is a good investment. Todd McFarland is directing? He knows nothing about directing and nothing about Hollywood. What if the movie flops? Now then I also think Todd McFarland never ran a comic book company, and action figure company and we'll he has done very well for never doing those things before. Once again with these questions, I'm looking for other characters to invest in. What do you think about these observations?
