Nigels just from the era where you had to know your stuff when tuning your car or you'd blow it up ...you couldn't just get 80hp from a 350 quid map...these guys paved the way with tuning and put all their spare time and wallets into it ...wasn't until the jdms arrived that you could tune a car with any reliability.

I was referring to Nigel in the video because somebody in Germany done a A20NFT swap in their VX220 and it's a proper weapon.. while sounding like a jet engine on boost. The Z28NET is the most reliable VXR engine and people claim they aren't because they are using the wrong oil and snap the timing belt

These cars are a handful with standard power... if it rotates on a chamber you're spinning...plus hes running semi slicks...this is not a big heavy awd bmw with computers , if you don't have all 4 wheels on the deck in a 220 turbo you don't boot it. Ricky has no experience trying to recover one of these and he doesn't have smooth inputs.

There’s no skill involved in punching a pedal and letting a driver aid do the work.

Nice motor. 6k rev limit tho. Change them chocolate VXR rods and you can comfortably rev it to 7750rpm. Would be a different animal then. They should be capped at 350lb on standard rods tho.
