10 Oct || The 45th Foundation Day Celebration of the Arunachal Pradesh Women's Welfare Society (APWWS) was held on 10th October 2024 at the Dree Ground, Papu Nallah, Papum Pare District, Arunachal Pradesh. The event was graced by Dasanglu Pul, Hon'ble Minister for Women & Child Development, Cultural Affairs & Science & Technology, and Nabam Yahi, Vice Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Women Commission.
In collaboration with the APWWS, the Arunachal Pradesh Legal Services Authority organized a One-Day Mega Legal Awareness Camp on the same day. The camp focused on Free Marriage Registration Counselling and provided Legal Awareness on various women-related laws and schemes. The program was an essential initiative to promote legal literacy and support women's rights on this significant occasion.
