I was literally driving home from work in Franklin Square back home to Sea Cliff as this was happening that night, right through Garden City, but not sure I'd heard yet on the car radio news. An old friend of mine from college days was on that train coming home from midtown and got off maybe three stops before it occurred, since he lived in Elmont.

I grew up in Roslyn so I wasn't too far from you when this happened. My husband is from Glen Cove.

To be unarmed on a train and unable to get off while a pos is shooting innocent people would be horrific.

Apparently, his dad was rich and lead a nice life in Jamaica. He was also known as being very smart. When his parents died unexpectedly, he came to America. It's not clear why. He became obsessed with race when he watched how Jamaicans were represented in America. But honestly with how slowly his violence in his life increased, I would say many people missed flags that he was not well. His landlord especially called something is very wrong with him. He seems bipolar and the incidents of violence in his life all look like mania.

The Jamaican woman that spoke to Dana Tyler about Colin Ferguson with her back turned to the camera, she is 1 of just many other black folks that Colin Ferguson talks about. Imma keep it real, If I have something negative or critical to say about black folk, I will not air it before the world, but I would pull that person close and try and help him/her. We as a people must do better.

Ted Bundy took the same approach for his defense, you have the wrong guy, don't hurt me. He shouldn't have had a gun to begin with.
