I have a set of Road One Cavalry 285/70-17 on my sons 2002 Silverado, they're mounted on a set of Moto Metal wheels, I ran them on my F150 for about a year, and when I went to bigger wheels on the Ford, I moved them to my sons Chevy. They have about 20k miles on them, and about 40% tread left.. Very quiet, and really good on trips through the snow.

Purchased a set of Rydans Raptor from Walmart for my 1997 Siverado a year and a half ago for 80 bucks a piece. Best set of tires I have ever had. Have a rugged, sporty look, minimal noise and tread wear to this day, handle well, and come with 50,000 mile warranty. Performs as good as it looks for price. I live in Michigan, and my 2wd truck has not been stuck in snow since I got them. So impressed with the quality and price, will never buy another brand as long as they make them.

I just put some Calvary MTs on my Jeep jku, as soon as they were put on I took them for a test run. Did a deflate to 25psi, went on rough terrain, sloppy mud, climbed uphill in the woods, even unexpectedly had to drive over some brush, took it on the pebble beach and they did GREAT! I also have to drive about 90minutes to the trail I went on and they did fine on the highways, it rained that day and It handled well on the wet highway pavement.

Put some Cavalry MTs on my truck today. They seem really well made. Handle good on the street and gravel. Haven't taken them in mud yet but I'm sure they'll do fine. Soft compound and cleats on the lugs so they should do good in the winter. They make almost no noise for an MT which really surprised me, and the amount of road transfer compared to the junk Goodyear HTs I took off is phenomenal, I use to feel every bump in the road, not so much with the Cavalry. I'm sure they're not going to last high milage but I'm pretty impressed so far.

I know this is a old comment but I'll add to it. I just bought and mounted roadone calvary mt 245 65 r16 on my 2500hd. Everything you said was on point. They are quiet. Very surprising honestly. They replace my old Goodyear. The feel is so much better. And yes. I experience a SMALL vibration at the wheel. But less then the worn Goodyears. Figured this may help someone

I went with 37 inch Fury Country Hunter RT’s . Aggressive Hybrid and they are wearing evenly after 8k miles. Improved fuel mileage over my 35 inch Mickey Thompson Deegan 38’s. If he went over 30 he was sliding all over the road and almost went off the edge of the cliff a few times. I got over the pass in 45 mins took him over 4 hours. I'm actually running a set of road one Calvary MTs 35×12.50r20 on my 6 inch lifted F150. I got them cuz the shop couldn't get the amp MTs in quick enough. Looking at the Road One Cavalry M/T Mud Tire RL1261 right now, and you're right, there isn't a lot of info out there...at least you touched on them, and included them in your list, as with everything on the Internet, I take things with a grain of salt, but you provide some insight into the Road One brand...IF I were to get them, they'd be replacing Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo2's on a 2002 GMC 2500HD, I've been running Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos(orig and no 2's) for the last 10yrs, been looking for an alternative, was looking at Yokohama, but these caught my eye...The only 2 detractors I see, they're of a directional tread design, and they're M/T's meaning additional road noise(been running A/T's for a LONG time)...life span may or may not be an issue, but with a 7000lb(curb weight) truck, proper tire rotation is always the key to tire life...

I'm surprised the Radar Renegade MT didn't make this list. I bought a set of 35x12.50-20 for $800. Surprisingly they balanced well with very minimal vibration. Shocking for a MT tire. I ran these tires on my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 with 6" lift for about 10k miles before I traded the truck in and when I traded it they had very little wear, however I rotate my toes religously every 5000 miles. I was pleased with them. A, little body but that's expected with mud tires. Decided to go with Toyo Open Country RT's on my new truck because I had a little bit mor money to spend this time and wanted something a little quieter but wouldn't hesitate to buy the Radar Renegade MT's again if I ever go back to a mud tire.

You guys should look into AMP Tires - very cheap and excellent wear. I've been running them for about 7 months and they still look almost brand new.

im thinking of picking up a set of those in 37x13.50r24. have you had any issues at all with those tires yet? thanks

I would venture to say it is hands down, without a doubt, the best bang for the buck tire on the road. I would take them anyday over ridge grapplers or K02s all day long.

@@kazfan3169 I Second that. I am running 37s and got them for 1k shipped. I have never had a better tire on a truck. They wear great and are quite. Traction in snow, rain, dirt, and highway is amazing.

Great tire for sure, unfortunately not so cheap anymore

I personally had a set of atturo m/t and as far as ride and performance goes I liked them better than my toyos but I hated that they ran skinny and I had them on 12" wide wheels so the look of a skinnier tire pushed me away, I'm currently running the road one cavalry and the tread wear is acceptional but I do get a little more vibration. all in all both are great on a budget but I'm going back to a more reputable tire company next go around

I have the Arturo trail blade m/t and they’re a very nice tire and they look aggressive but they are ridiculously loud.

The dynopro atm is in my book one of the best tires for the money they are good in snow mud dirt gravel and will still last 70k I’ve seen guys that drive 80% gravel all the time and they can still get over 50k longest I’ve ever had a set last was 68k and they were on the front of a 92 F250 all their life dang good tires
@quentins56926 жыл бұрын
AMP MTs are some of the best cheap tires I've ever ran. They seem to run wide (?) and on my 22x14s, 33x12.5s look like a 13.5 wide almost!

The Milestar Patagonia MT in 31x10.50 has been a very good tire for the mountains & desert here I southern Az. Great traction in heavy rain, mud,loose rock and even deep sandy washes. Alot of bang for your buck. They wear good and look good too, with great sidewall traction
