Great video! Doesn't using hair gels lead to build up? I have been doing research before getting locs and pretty much every one else has made me so scared about using gels once you have lots because of build up. I would love to see a video of how you do retwists & style your hair!!!

Gels can cause buildup if it’s like wax or something or if you use too much gel. Other wise it helps a lot

How often do you shampoo, does the clear gel leave a residue when you do?

I deep shampoo only right before a retwist. Which I get every two or three months. As long as you use only what is needed for your hair, there is no residue or film left behind! Even at times when I have heavily used the product I had no residue.
