Tim, I just wanted to thank you for teaching me more in the past two months than I've learned in 1 year of college. I now work a steady job and I've been exceeding expectations all thanks to you! After I finish your JS series, I will be supporting this channel and I encourage anyone else who feels the same to do so as well!

2:42 You could use Alt+Shift+F to format. I use it for Python(black module in Python), HTML, CSS, Javascript.
@moali93583 жыл бұрын
So if you dowload the Python you can use control alt shift F?
@adithmanu37153 жыл бұрын
@@moali9358 Yes, but you need to install a formatting module. Black (pip install black) is the most popular module

@Tech With Tim You mentioned in a video that you used two projects over the course of a weekend, to get you a job(your first job) How did you get to the point where you were able to do those projects? I did a python course on Udemy, and when I sit down to do a project...nothing comes to me. Can you talk about that please. (Yes I know you made a tutorial on your project, but I should be able to do it without cheating like that [just watching your vid, right?])

If you use python a lot, you might like my extension dark+ python which is basically just the default dark+ theme but with the same syntax highlighting for python as javascript

Other cool extensions: 1. Quokka - Runs JS in the background and displays console results in the code 2. Better comments - Highlighting for comments 3. Auto Rename Tag (For HTML and JSX) - renames the closing tag when you edit the opening one

Hi Tim, Very nice and helpful video, but... As we don't need Settings Sync any more, as well we will don't need the anoyng Spell Checker! I used to use both, but until the Micro$oft implemented their settings sync way (maybe from the first and original one) I have used the first variant. About the spell checker... Because of my projects and different names for variables I have reached to an gigantic custom dictionary, so I had to remove it because it became so... click add to dict, click add to dict... Annoying! The others are very, nice and useful ;) Keep up with this great job! Thumb up! All the best, George
