I've been using Rukka for years ive two different jackets summer and winter plus the pants and another soft shell jacket. Absolutely outstanding gear top quality and expensive worth every cent and I've been riding over 45 years

Glad to hear that you're happy with your Rukka gear! They do make fantastic stuff. Ride safe and thanks for tuning in.

Great video and explanation of all the jackets you carry! Don’t listen to the fools who put your reviews down because you don’t carry their brand. 👍

I have tried to save a few bucks on rain gear. Not a good Idea. You can not put a price tag on being FREEZING wet and MEASURABLE. Save is you must. You will be glad that you did. Just my 2 cents

Hi, another question. The Atlantic 2 jacket has a vent behind the main zip, how are the storm flaps held open to access that vent?

Hi, nice video. I am surprised you did not include the klim Badlands Pro A3 which is, for me, the best as it is really 4 seasons
@FortaMoto11 ай бұрын
Thanks for your compliments! Klim make fantastic gear! We are currently not a Klim dealer (yet), so that's why their gear is not included.

Very nice review to start 2024! Concise, focused, no shenanigans. Liked it very much. All in all, I am not a big fan of Velcro, particular in cuffs and along the front zipper, so it seems the best Gore-Tex in my personal preference is the Dainese Carve Master 3, to replace my getting old but still good, also Dainese, Gator Gore-Tex.

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed watching it. See you next time. Ride safe!

Too many manufacturers make what I consider the mistake of putting the sleeve zip behind the velcro or press stud. Dainese doesn't do this on many of their jackets. The Carve Master is a comfortable jacket being stretchy but not being laminated it will wet out in heavy rain.

Is the Rukka Rapto-R the European version of the Nivala 2.0? None of the bike shop websites for the UK seem to stock the Rapto

That is indeed correct!

@@FortaMoto Thanks for the reply, I have asked this on quite a few videos and no-one else has answered. It seems a better deal to get it from you guys than a retailer in the UK. You're much cheaper than every retailer in the UK.

@@ScotsmanDougal you're welcome! We try to offer sharp prices where we can, but please note that all prices on our website are excluding taxes. You are not required to pay taxes to our shop when ordering from outside of the EU. However, it is possible that customs will charge taxes and/or customs fees. Not to try and scare you, but, that is something you would have to check with your local customs office. Of course, we hope to do business with you and we hope you ride safe ;)!

Unfortunately they compare apples with a watermelon. The Rukka Rapto-r (or the newer Shield-r) is not compareable with those previous models. It is comparable with the Rev-it Dominator 3, the Richa Armada gtx pro, Klim, etc… and indeed Rukka’s my favourite as well.

I'm sorry, but this is just a sales pitch, as you only rate the brands available at your shop. The only one of these that could stand up to my Stadler is the Rukka, but you probably don't sell Stadler, so it is not on the list.
@FortaMoto Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call it "just a sales pitch", exactly. It's an honest overview of my 5 favourite jackets. It goes without saying that we only rate jackets we actually sell. I mean, we are a shop.. We are not (yet) a Stadler dealer, but they make splendid gear and would definitely feature on my list. The video is free to watch and you're also free to purchase a different jacket from any other vendor. It's just a video, man.

Calm down, silly person. The video is based on opinions, you are free to have your own. We are currently not a Klim or Stadler dealer - so, naturally, we don't mention them in our videos.
