@@DepalesaTshabalala I agree. However, this emphasis on transcendence touted by many religions throughout history has had some devastating effects. It's led to a hierarchy of value (see Augustine for instance) with man at the top and the earth at the bottom. This has not served us well in our care for creation. It fostered misogyny, greed, and the rape of the planet. We'll become discarnate soon enough--it's the way of things. Valuing all of creation as sacred is more likely to lead to a practice of lovingkindness.

It was a bittersweet roller coaster ride during my Pluto is in my ascendant for last 15-17 yrs, as I’m Capricorn rising. .Astrology is first thing I learned during Pluto transit that taught me to understand the process of on how Pluto in Capricorn touches my life. It’s sad in my behalf that Pluto is leaving forever in my ascendant and this last 2 months are tough to reminisce all I have had been through and had been experienced. Alan Watts was a Capricorn who I thought had a special ability to tread that tension between the real and the unreal or the mystical and the analytical. Here's a story I often heard him, hinting at his connection to his Capricorn sun: he would talk about human being merely a sphincter with a hole at one end where the ship would come out and a ring of teeth at the other end where the food would come in, sphincters that transform like many other animals and we have more similarities to worms and we would ever care to admit. As a rising AND sun in Capricorn, I laughed so much when I read it. It all resonates with me and I don't like to share my pain or wallow in it. Yesterday we were playing a game where we all answered some questions. One was what's your perfect day. Everyone said different things like when I can drink coffee and sit and imagine being somewhere or I am somewhere etc. when it came to me, I said everyday is a perfect day for me. When I complete me daily two hour early morning walk, I feel joy and peace and ready to tackle life.

I had a good laugh at Leo vs Capricorn! As a native Leo Sun + Mercury + Midheaven + North Node I had a MASSIVE issue with any earth sign growing up. Despite being raised by a Capricorn rising Dad and Taurus Sun Mom. It took Pluto in Capricorn, I was 27 at the start now 43 at the end, for me to finally appreciate the wisdom of Capricorn. This is probably one of my favorite videos from this channel. It was hilarious for starters, and completely on point. I'm a Cancer moon, Cancer ASC, no planets in Capi but I live on the axis. Pluto's parade through Capi at least this time around made sure that I was extremely aware that I've spent the last 15ish years barely existing and waiting to die. Of course, in good ol' Pluto fashion, the death of 3 family members this past July, made me realize that I haven't been living my life at all. In 2008 when Pluto entered Capi, I started my Corporate America career and I climbed pretty high on the corporate ladder. As soon as Pluto re-entered Capi for his farewell tour, he made sure to burn my career to the ground so that I can stop pretending that a corporate job is what I want. This experience shed light on how quickly something can be destroyed when the foundation is built from fear and false belief systems. So much tragedy, death and destruction in such a short amount of time is why dark comedies exist. One can't help but laugh at the absurdity of how life unfolds.

Pluto transiting my first house helped me remove those people from my life (friends and family) who maintained the emotional imprint of my childhood and helped push me towards those who offer a genuine love and support. It helped me face my personal shadows and empowered me more. I experienced very turbulent relationships that helped me grow as a person. The past 5 months for me have been a similar lesson/reminder in romantic relationships. The story of the Taoist monk's answer in the documentary you mentioned, was exactly my experience when it comes to love and relationships. The lovely and beautiful aspects of romantic connections, much like natural beauty by a body of water, were enhanced by the feeling of shared love, but the other aspects, just as real, such as maturation of feelings, possibility of manipulation, power-struggles, refusal to deal with the logistics of growing and anchoring a new relationship, etc. It was all very much on point.

Way back when Pluto first transgressed into Capricorn, I had just inherited an old house that I planned on selling. I knew about Pluto ingress Capricorn, so I was aware at the time of the major upheavals to expect. My realtor told me, "Something strange is going on in real estate. Homes are not selling as well as they used to". ( it was the beginning of the foreclosure crisis). I told my realtor to price the house accordingly. I accepted an offer within a week. I was relieved to do so because it was expensive to insure a vacant house. There was no way with Pluto entering Capricorn that I was going to argue with a solid offer. Two weeks after we closed, a hurricane hit. We are far from the ocean, but the exterior storm bands hit us bad. A large tree in the backyard of that house fell on top of the neighbor's roof, crushing a portion of their home unfortunately. Nobody hurt, fortunately but wow.

Love it. I have a Capricorn 4th house with the south node there. I just keep getting a deep desire to go to ancient burial sites in Scotland (I live in West Yorkshire UK). In my artwork I’ve had to draw burial mound plans & cup and ring marks (Neolithic glyphs found on stones).It’s as if there’s some ancestral force drawing me there. I always compare your transit reports to music or entertainment that I'm watching and it's usually stuff I'm watching at the current moment, it's funny since Pluto has gone back into Capricorn, me and the misses have been watching the show , Little house on the prairie and if that show isn't full of Capricorn lessons in a good harmonious way wow I don't know astrology lol. Yesterday we watched like three episodes, and I had to look up the zodiac signs of the cast , Charles , Michael Landon was a Scorpio, and Laura a Taurus meanwhile the antagonist of the show you might say Harriet Olson her and her daughter are both Capricorn , these are the actors actual zodiacs not the characters lol and that makes it even cooler ! Reminds me of the proverbial saying: "Above and Beneath no one". Also I'm hearing surrender to life, as a type of temperance rather than resistance to that tempering as all that life truly offers, which is the gift. This talk makes it clear to me as to why Capricorn is exalted by Mars, as Mars is foundationally about experience, forged through the fight to survive and on and on the fight for the right to experience goes, informing for Mars what it means to be alive. And Capricorn archetype says surrender and embrace this aliveness by allowing oneself to throw off the illusion of the "specialness" of self and become authentic/secure through immersing oneself in the experience that is Life. This informs the dry humor once you reach the top (or at least think is the top) of one mountain which you come to find out is the bottom of another. The Aries archetype levelled up, Capricorn style. This was a great talk. I have a Cap Rising chart so I laughed at all of them too. We can laugh about life’s hardships or we can cry. There’s a time for both but it is what it is. Happiness: yeah but is it sustainable? Ha ha. Find joy when and where you can. And meanwhile keep chopping wood and carrying water. And as I tell my Leo friend: You ARE special…just like everyone else😂

You don't understand how much this video means to me. I'm born with my ASC, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune and Pluto in Capricorn (so all 1H), Mars and Uranus and Jupiter in Aquarius (all 2H). The only thing not Saturian in my chart regarding planets is my Moon 😂 which is Libra in my 10th and Saturn in Aries in my 4H. Truer words have never been spoken. My chart is very Saturnian. Saturn + Pluto have been breaking me down by exposing me to hard things and forcing me to build myself up by maturing and learning how to raise myself instead of waiting for my knight in shining armor so to speak. My sun in Capricorn will not allow me to be great just for existing unlike Leo would. I must be great through hardwork and efficiency. My journey is efficiency (True node in Virgo 9H) vs speaking, thinking, and dreaming of my dream life (South Node in Piscean 3H) and that was really driven home by the 1st and 2nd points in this video. Thank you so much for the clarity and being the messenger for my Saturn and Pluto teachers😂 I have grown so much and I cannot wait for the gifts of my first Saturn return next year.
