The 5 Love Languages! Be a Better Lover ❤️ ACTS OF SERVICE..When Actions Speak Louder Than words! 📢

One of the 5 languages of love (from the book The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman) is Acts of Service. If you’re somebody who believes that Actions speak louder than words, you probably prefer someone to show you love by doing things for you.
If your partner has Acts of Service as their primary love language, you will need get very good at speaking this language! There are many ways to show love, but the three ingredients are:
Do the act of service with no strings attached! Don’t expect them to say thank you or publicly recognize you for it. You are only doing this to show love to your partner in a self-less way!
Do it with a good attitude. Don’t complain about how difficult it was or how tired you are, or the sacrifice you made. Don’t bring it up later as a “pat on the back” type of thing. Show your love cheerfully
Be Thoughtful. Don’t wait for your partner to tell you what to do. Just consider yourself in their shoes, and ask yourself how you could best serve them. If they pull up with a car full of groceries, tell them to go inside and relax while you unload the car. If you notice their car is dirty, wash it for them. Bring them their favorite drink, or offer to take care of dinner if they are stressed or busy. There are countless ways to NOTICE your partner, and demonstrate your love by service.

Overall my main love languages and how I receive love are 1. Physical touch, 2. Quality time, and 3. Words of affirmation. How I give love to others are 1. Physical touch, 2. Gifts, 3. Acts of service, 4. Quality time, and 5. Words of affirmation. I do all 5 of them when I give or show my love to others.

Took the quiz - acts of service is my primary love language (as predicted), followed by words of affirmation and quality time (in a tie), physical touch, and lastly gifts. My wife and I both demonstrate acts of service as our priority, with all other LL traits relatively close in order. She prioritizes gifts a bit higher, so I make a point to accommodate her in that area.

I think this is new age theory. Not saying its wrong but its going too far. Be a good person, look out for your person, listen, put them first. If they love and take care of you thats beautiful. I don't think it needs to be so specific
