Thank you Dr Ravindran for this video. I wish far more doctors were knowledgeable about the condition. It’s really encouraging to have a doctor who a) actually recognises it exists, and b) who has significant knowledge of what causes it. As someone who was diagnosed with ME when I was 35, I’ve spent the past 35 years (I’m now 70), dealing with the condition largely on my own.

Was first told “CFS” in my 20’s… I’m now late fifties. I’ve pushed through the pain and fatigue for nearly 3 decades, and still cannot get SSDI because it’s so damn hard to prove subjective symptoms. I shouldn’t even be driving half the time, 😓

I’ve had EBV & reactivated in 2019, CMV also, then Covid and CMV again! Now I’ve been through so many health issues since 2019. COVID has destroyed my life since I had it and have had long covid in 2022.

I have had CFS since March of 2017. It was a tetanus shot that gave me the initial Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Then in 2018 the doctor I had misdiagnosed me with Hep B and then I was given 2 vaccines for that. The 2 Hep B vaccines made the initial CFS even worse. The second Moderna vaccine I got on May 15, 2021 gave me Myalgic Encephalomyolitis and made me bed bound that entire year. So, the combination of the shots and vaccines gave me the entire MECFS. I do believe that ME and CFS have slightly different symptoms. In 2021 when I got the second Moderna vaccine that is when I started to have symptoms which involved my brain. These symptoms include very bad memory, brain fog, perhaps even dementia...I was forgetting a lot of words. And also forgetting much of my piano repertoire. There is very little recall. Following Dr. Myhill's protocol has been a lifesaver for me. I have also been able to lose about 60 pounds. I still get tired but for the most part I think I am about 70 to 80 percent improved. You may have already heard about this, but ME/CFS researchers have developed a hypothesis called the itaconate shunt hypothesis that explains how the innate immune system drastically lowers the amount of energy produced in the mitochondria. It’s worth looking into. Rob Phair is one of the lead researchers.

Great tips ! Stress usually causes muscle tightness which sets up a flare up . Relaxation techniques can help ,also I find eating a low inflammatory or high polyphenol food can help

I am paying attention to my body.i have periods when the fatigue is so severe that i have to myself and then get burned out so easily. It seems I wake up with a thumbnail of energy and try to move the world with it. My body sometimes behaves as if it wants to just give up. Today I noticed a wave of fatigue and ask Siri about allergies and CFS and wow. I’m testing myself to see if the use of an anti histamine will help. Wish me luck! Never stop looking for your answers

I came down with CFS/POTs in 2016 after going to hospital for routine kidney stone surgery ...I got an ESBL infection turned to sepsis and been disabled ever since .
