Doctor,I had my stool test done. I was tested positive for H pylori antigen test but in fecal calprotectin test,it was negative . It was below 50 but the thing is if it's negative why I have incomplete bowel movement everyday . When I did the stool sample,I put only a little tiny bit of stool in the stool sample and I thought maybe it's the reason why I got normal result in fecal calprotectin test but I don't believe it cause my bowel is always incomplete everyday. Did I make a mistake or does hpylori infection cause constipation?

@@Echan-o5z Neither one of those tests has anything to do with your incomplete bowel movements. That's why it isn't making sense.

I have had ibs issues for years and it was very severe with my endometriosis problems. Although most of my endometriosis issues have gotten significantly better my ibs has suddenly changed to mixed ibs. I have had issues with dairy most of my life and suddenly the list of foods I can no longer handle is growing. I think what you said about the cause being one piece of the puzzle is probably true in my case. I’ve been reading online that endometriosis is linked to many other things and I have a colonoscopy in a few days so will hopefully get more answers.

I'm glad it struck a cord. Having a colonoscopy is good, but it doesn't provide any answers for IBS.

I am going to a new gastroentrologist at the end of this month. I learned more from my own research than the doctor I had previously. I had 18" of my colon removed because of Diverticulosis. The Diverticulosis was really bad. My first doctor figured that it started in my 20's. I am now 77. I am in a flare up with constipation which is new to me. I do take Hyoskyamine for cramping. I hope my new doctor understands and just doesn't do the old routine of no help!

DOCTOR OR ANYONE PLZ HELP ME WITH MY IBS-D, MY LIFE IS RUINED, I AM EMBARRASED. It started 5 yrs back and with ibs i somehow completed my college, i couldn't enjoy my college life In a few months i'll be joining a job, move out of home to a far away remote place, where they might not have proper restrooms for girls, I am so scared i have to find a solution doc, because i have to do this job to support my family. My gut rarely stays in a good condition whenever I go out, either I will feel bloated, or slight cramps, the urge to poop. I can't eat out because i get diarrhea. I don't know what food is good for me, because I only eat what my mom cooks, and those are simple dishes. No doctors could help me, some say cut on milk, i did but it didn't help. i also had anxiety. When i am in class i can't concentrate properly because of my gut nto feeling comfortable. HELP ME! PLEASE

It could cause enough pressure to cause abdominal and chest pain, but it's the thing causing the gas that can cause the brain fog. We often see that and we'd love to help you with it.

I have IBS, Psoriasis. For psoriasis, avoiding meat and having veggies & raw food is good. For IBS, I find it other way is better. I find it hard to find & manage balanced food. Your videos give me hope. Iam from India. I would like to consult you.
