So, here is my list of 5 brand new motorcycles which will make your money work for you under Rs. 1 Lakh.

Honda X-Blade
The X-Blade is the all new adventure commuter offering from Honda. This motorcycle is based on CB Hornet 160R and CB Unicorn 160 platform which was based on CX-01 concept.
The X-Blade is powered by the trusted 162.71cc single cylinder HET engine which produces 13.93Bhp@8500rpm and 13.9Nm of torque at 6000rpm with its 5-speed gearbox.
There are 5 colour options to choose from, including, Matte Frozen Silver Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Inginious Black, Matte Marshal Green Metallic and Pearl Spartan Red.
There is also an adventure kit consisting of taller transparent windsceen for better protection against wind blast and a rack for storing luggage.
The price is expected to be somewhere around Rupees 80 thousand ex-showroom. The X-Blade will on sale from March of this year.
The X-Blade will compete against the likes of Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZs and TVS Apache RTR 160.

Hero Xtreme 200R
The Xtreme 200R is the aggressive premium offering from Hero Motocorp. This bike is targeted at younger demographic by Hero.
The bike is available in five exciting colors: Panther Black with cool Silver, Panther Black with Red, Sports Red, Charcoal Grey with Orange and Techno Blue.
Powering the Xtreme is an up scaled air-cooled single cylinder 199.6cc carbureted BS-IV complaint Achiever engine which produces 18.4 PS @ 8000 rpm and 17.1 NM of torque @ 6500 rpm with its 5-speed gearbox.
The price is expected at Rs. 85 thousand ex-showroom for standard variant and Rs. 90 thousand ex-showroom for ABS variant.
The new Hero Xtreme 200R will compete against its rivals like TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and Bajaj Pulsar NS 200.

Bajaj Avenger 220’s
Though the Avenger was first launched in 2007 and has been updated several times but this year Bajaj has completely overhauled the twin avengers in terms of cosmetic department and the bikes now look sportier than before.
Both avenger 220 Cruise and Street are priced at Rs. 93,500 ex-showroom, Delhi.
There is no change in engine department and the 220cc DTS-i 2-valve oil cooled engine produces the same 19.03Bhp@8500rpm and 17.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
The biggest threat to both 220 Avengers is of newly launched Suzuki Intruder 150.

Suzuki Intruder 150
Intruder 150 is the brand new bike coming from Suzuki’s stable. The Intruder 150 is the miniature version of Intruder M1800R and 800R but to me it resembles of Honda Goldwing F6C.
Now, the FI variant is also available as optional at a premium of Rs. 6,000.
The Intruder 150 has a relaxed seating position and is powered by the same 154.9cc 2-valve SEP air-cooled engine which produces 14.8PS@8500rpm and 14Nm of torque at 6000rpm with its 5-speed gearbox.
The Intruder 150 comes in two colour options: Metallic Grey with Matte Black and Glass sparkle Black with Metallic Matte Titanium Silver.
The price of intruder 150 is just under 1 lakh margin at Rs. 98,300 ex-showromm, Delhi and competes with Bajaj Avenger 150.

Hero Xpulse 200
The Hero Xpulse 200 was the showstopper at Auto Expo 2018. The Xpulse 200 made its first debut in EICMA 2017. Xpulse 200 has a very minimalistic design and is the second adventure bike from Hero after Impulse 150.Xpulse 200 is based on same platform as of Xtreme 200R which means the diamond type frame will provide excellent ride quality.
The bike comes equipped with 200cc single cylinder air-cooled PGM-Fi engine which chunks out 18.4PS and 17.1Nm of torque with its 5-speed gearbox.
The price has not yet been revealed but according to trusted sources the bike will be priced under Rs. 1 lakh and will be available in festive season.
The accessories include LED auxiliary lamps and a tom bag.
The main competition of Xpulse 200 is of Royal Enfield Himalayan which is priced much higher.
