Another tip you can use while strafing in the fing range is, start implementing movement i.e crouch strafing/ dropshotting aswell as putting your gun to semi auto and try to kill the targets as fast as you can. I used to do that in my warmup sessions when i played apex ranked.
@leonydus9889

one of that does anything, your better off just aiming normally, crouch strafing is just cringe

Leony idk what fakes ass games you play before you started playing COD, but please understand that your character does have a realistic hitbox, you can shoot between someones leg and it doesnt hit them, just like how you can dodge someones bulets or throww them off in the middle of the gunfight, causing easy close and mid range fights, every particle and miliseconds makes a difference, this is an FPS game, bullets are faster than your eyes, so i recommend you try to implement every single thing that you think is insignifcant to your gameplay, trust me bro you thank me later... you sound like the type of guy who believe that 3% of something doesnt make a difference and attachments on gun are useless. I advise you to stop now

One of my biggest takes from this (besides most of it!!! Even after switching to PC and now being in my early 30s and having most of this down) is that static crosshair setting! I’ve played with just the dot, I’ve played with the dot being bigger but I honestly didn’t take the time to read and make my crosshairs static im so stupid! I also use High rise kontrol freeks, like since my PS3 days so I literally have a bag of a good 50+ pair of used kontrol freeks as anyone who uses them a lot will understand lol I love when people ask, “have you tried using kontrol freeks?” And I just laugh. But I play kbm AND controller on the new cods so after playing kbm and getting used to the higher sensitivity that I can use, going back to controller, I always have to up my sensitivity, right not im playing on a 12-12 but I’m slowly lowering that because it loses me gunfights more than it helps turning on people. And once I lower my hipfire sense, I start to lower my ADS sense by .5 and usually the sweet spot is around 9 or 10 with a .85-.90 ads sense for lower zoom optics. BUT, i have noticed that on this cod, either ping or something else messes with how my sensitivity feels in game from game to game. Im hardwired to my PC and im NA EAST near A LOT of servers from Ohio to Toronto, CA so my ping averages 8-10 at the lowest (that’s usually my ping 100% of the time during peek hours) up to 22-24 during non peak times and then occasionally if I hop on around like 3-4am i get that game every once in a while where my ping is in the 40s but it’s rare. I quite literally am the one who has the lowest ping in the lobby 99% of the time but somehow it feels like it affects my sensitivity even though, ping will be the same both matches. It’s really weird and I really hope it’s not part of that “sbmm patent” people talk about and yes I’ve read the patent almost entirely and it seems more for campaign or pve than pvp but i would not be surprised. Anyway, everything else helped because it just reminds me to center and to snap aim in this game especially. Thank you broski! Ill be 33 next month and the only thing saving my gaming is being able to play on a 27” 1440p 180Hz monitor. And I still have to sit close and FOV is 110 sometimes I bump it up to 112 but that’s only for ground war or WZ.

I'm a mouse and keyboard player these days but I appreciate this video. I know a lot of controller players can feel overwhelmed. Good aim can seem impossible to achieve, but I'm here to tell you that it isn't. Understanding how aim assist works and how to abuse it is so crucial. You can continue to be the person who comments "my aim assist doesn't look like that lmao💀", or you can learn. As someone who spent my whole life on controller, I realize that controller aiming is actually more knowledge than it is a skill you learn. I believe you can teach someone how to get great aim on controller in just 30 minutes. Yes, it is that easy. It's still a skill, but it's more knowledge of secret "left stick aiming." Once you get it, you'll know.

I was playing on mouse in cod mw2 and wondering why I was getting my arse waxed by little kids. Put in a controller and learned how to setup aim assist and its ridiculous how much easier it is to control recoil and track moving target. Really and unfair advantage against mouse players if you ask me.

As I got older, I got lazier.... You can still be great at fps when pushing 40, Just stop being lazy. You have something younger gamers don't have, Experience. Few figure out new tactics or builds, They copy others. You can be the total package as well, If you're young, With good aim, And try to expand your viewpoint in terms of strategy. DMZ is a great example of where Strategy vastly outweighs mechanical skill

Youre absolutely right. Mate, age has little to do with it. I used to play with a 71 year old in MW Remastered. He was a little above average. A lot of the blokes that played that one where older lads actually. And DMZ has tons of dads in it to.

I dont actually play "multiplayer" or warzone, but looking to improve my pvp on dmz, and this video is top notch quality. Everyone is talking about the editing (which is honestly fantastic), but what grabbed me was both the quantity of info and the quality. You laid it out in a way that's easy to digest and builds on itself, so that someone can actually implement the ideas probably just from one watch. Every pro player I have seen, they don't stress at close combat, they are either calm or simply smiling while butchering other players. I am trying to achieve that level of mental state because at the moment, anytime I'm in close combat I get super stressed out and I hit the buttons that I wasn't supposed to and end up missing shots and also not able to think clearly. It's only after I die in the game, epiphany happens oh I should have moved that way or this way which was supposed to be happening mid-fight. And guys, with the practice of peace and calm in these close combat game scenarios, I am slowly getting better at pvp. Looks like ultimately it's all about self-control and your calm mental state and not losing it during the fight. So many players like me are just anxious and super nervous and we lose. I still forget sometimes to maintain calm, now I am trying my best to put some conscious effort to stay calm. :)

Most of this information I learned on the fly while trying to get good at shooters back in the day. And everything that was said was true. Especially the true focus bit. Which can be hard if you're in a party with friends trying to play, since you want to focus on them, but also want to focus on enemies. And honestly, just blocking out your friends while you're trying to get a kill can help a lot as well.

As A M&K Player, the recoil section of this video will benefit players massively. Controller player will benefit massively from the snap aiming section, this will allow you recoil to be far easier for you as aim assist should slow this down while reticule is on the enemy. Super content dude :)
