Simon Cowell has admitted that he stopped using fillers and botox because his child said they didn't know what he really looked like. Of course, after that, he lost volume and had drooping skin, but this is what he really looks like without all the botox and fillers. I applaud him for aging naturally now.

About five years ago, I had a mini tummy tuck with liposuction. Before having, the procedure, I was required to get an EKG and just make sure everything was in order. I was lucky to have an ethical and honourable surgeon. He also told me not to expect perfection. To this day, (and also thanks to years of working out and eating real food), I am very pleased with the results.

I'd be scared too, but just remember, we only "see" the bad results. When we see good plastic surgery, we just remark how good the person looks or how well they're aging. Marilyn Monroe is a good example...she's remembered only as a beauty, even though she had a lot of (good) plastic surgery.

When I got my breast reduction, I was required to get a thorough checkup from my primary first. Part of that was likely for insurance purposes - my reduction was covered - but I'm pretty sure the surgeon would've wanted me to get checked out, anyway, just to make sure I was healthy enough.

I considered plastic surgery (for myself) as a last option to fix something that has been broken. Like when there is a lot of weight loss a skin removal and possible tummy tuck to fix what bad food choices broke.

I unfortunately have a lot of loose skin due to two very hard and very big pregnancies…..I don’t get plastic surgery because I figure they are like my tattoos and other scars….they tell a story about my life. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But that may not be what others choose and that’s fine.

​@slhkslhk2998, people who have lost a truly significant amount of weight (say >150 pounds) can have >50 pounds of loose skin hanging off arms, torso, legs. It inerferes with being active and erodes self confidence, plus it's very uncomfortable. I worked with woman who had lost nearly 200 pounds. She showed me. The surgeon wanted her to lose another 30 pounds before ha took it off.

There should always be a trip to your pcp..doctor to check your blood abd heart etc. to see if you are healthy enough for surgery. All surgery no matter how minor is potentially dangerous. It really doesn't have anything to do with insurance requirements. Look out for your own health even if no one else does! ❤

It’s always the eyes. Invariably the celebs get eye work and they transform into a different looking person. I really don’t understand why celebs don’t get some of the outstanding personal care skin products that can gracefull enhance the skin and give the person natural youthful look. Good personal care skin products can be found at high end stores as well as stores of mass appeal like Target. Works for me. I use products reasonably priced and get compliments regularly.

I didn’t get plastic surgery yet, but I’m getting my left breast to be more similar to my right. The left is bigger than and sagging. Not my right. Every time I see them side by side, then I think to myself “This is not my left breast.” I show it to my mom. Because she’s planning on paying for the surgery. I can’t wait to get it done! I’m already 18 and living in London. I was 17 when I consulted with a plastic surgeon. The doctor was trustable. He told me I had to be 18, of course. My mom is trying to get me a procedure without cutting my breast. Yes without cutting my breast. I know it’s natural for girls to have lop sided breasts, but every time I see mine, I just fill up with shame and regret and the hope of getting a breast job before I’m married. I just want my breasts to be like fraternal twins. Not cousins! And they look like cousins!

Your breasts will still change over time. If you only have 1 done, they will change in different ways and you will be right back where you started. Don't do it.

Some of your claims, which are based on photographs, don't necessarily hold up to scrutiny. Different lighting and camera angles and changes in weight and age make a huge difference with most people. People can look VERY different with time, as well, to the point where you can't recognize them in a photograph that was taken a decade or two before you knew them!

As I have commented in the past, celebrities should not have to explain to the public, if they had plastic surgery or not. The say, age gracefully through accepting your natural looks. Rather than trying too remove or alter your natural aging appearance. True beauty is self confidence and self acceptance. As well as the inner beauty. I’m graying wrinkled and definitely don’t look youthful anymore. But that’s okay bc that’s how it’s supposed to work. I’ve always accepted my overall looks and never let society dictate what is the right way to look. In my lifetime I never had a man insult my small bust line. Nor did I have a shortage of men wanting to date me bc of my size. All I know is you couldn’t pay me enough to ever undergo plastic surgery. Hard pass!

Renée Zellweger, one of my favorite actresses...She changed her hair - sweeping the bangs up high, instead of down and it made a huge difference! She stopped plucking her eyebrows and she apparently did Botox that froze her face which stopped her cheeks from squinting her eyes when she smiled! Those few things completely changed the impish, well loved charm of her face! Now, the bangs are back, the Botox has faded and she found her tweezers....Thank you God!!♥
