I’m back from a half board long weekend trip in sequoia lodge and the food in those restaurants were horrendous.. we lived at McDonald’s unfortunately..

@@christielennox9018 It is the worst when the food isn't up to par! Particularly when you have such long days in the park and you want a good meal! I definitely think food is an area DLP could improve in!

I have to agreed with the list. My friends were very devesated about the foo doptions. They went to Rainforest cafe, earl's sandwich and mcdonald's. They advised me to never send my disney people here. I am a disney travel agent.

It is such a shame in a country that loves food that the food at DLP isn't better! Luckily there are some better options and I hope this video can help point people in the right direction!

As for people with allergies : in Agrabah restaurant we recieved a list with all the food choices (starters, mains, desserts) and the allergens. In Chuck Wagon the CM went through the whole buffet with my daughter, pointing out the dishes she could take and which to avoid. So so nice!

The allergy menu is absolutely the way forward with any allergies or dietary requirements! It is so nice when they walk you through the buffet too!

Thank you for this nice video. I agree with you. For buffet I also would recommend Agrabah or... Chuck Wagon at the Cheyenne hotel : good quality food, lots of choices for little children and their parents. We had dinner there this week. I had corn soup with croutons and bread, followed by salmon with vegetable crumble, broccoli, cauliflower and steak fries and I had warm apple crumble with crème anglaise for dessert 😋 so so gooood!

I have been to a few of those bad restaurants haha. Sometimes I can’t be bothered to find somewhere else and I don’t mind the generic stuff.

Yes! I think when people are tired and hungry they head to the first restaurant they find, and this is how they trap you! It is nice that with the smaller size of the parks once you know where the better restaurants are you can hop to them as they're not too far a walk which is nice!

The Jules Verve aesthetic is so cool! And I love that there is so much seating! Mobile order definitely helps with Cafe Hyperion!

I agree. We bought a crêpe just outside the Hyperion and ate it inside, where there were lots of free tables at that time 👍. In summer : nice place to cool down and gave a drink. In winter : nice place to get warm or out of the rain.

Its completely ridiculous that you are in paris: and find low quality foods to begin with while paying so much.. but i would always go for the safe option: buffet at marvel hotel and buffet at disney hotel. Those are both good

It is so true in a country that loves food to not have great quality food in the parks! It does fit with typical theme park fare but when you visit the US parks they have some really incredible restaurants and great food and it would be fab to see this come to DLP!

Yes! I am so glad you agree! It is so true that you are almost tricked into eating in these restaurants because of their location or the characters 😂 But you are so right there are much better options!

It had taken a while for us to decide on a burger for lunch, and we went to cafe hyperion and the queues were crazy, and did as you suggested, headed to cowboy cookout, and got served relatively quickly, and got a much nicer table than Hyperion would have had. My biggest issue with the quick serves is the layout of the queues, and being sent to a queue, but the servers deal with 2 queues. What is most frustrating is large groups ordering, not large groups per say, but the groups where everyone is in the queue, and after standing queuing for maybe 15 minutes when get to the server, then start to discuss what they want. I was fit to burst in April when this happened, waited almost 40 mins for a quick serve. Most of that time was behind a group discussing who wanted what at the cash register. Arrrrrgghhh!! Once we reached the server were done in a few minutes.

It is so good to hear your experience of Cafe Hyperion vs Cowboy Cookout Barbecue! OMG this is so true! The double queue for one till is a nightmare system! And as you say if you have a large group with a big order or people waiting till the last second to decide what to have it backs the queues up so much! I have no idea why they do this! It would be better to add another till behind and they just double the amount of queues / halve the queue time!

@@MostMagicalGuides To be honest I think Cowboy Cookout is often forgotten about as it is hidden away from the main part of the park. Usually we haven't gone to it, as being veggie and vegan the bbq options weren't there, but last time we were pleasantly surprised. Word of warning though, don't go just after Rhythm of the Pridelands empties!

Yes this is so true! If you are not going to Rhythm of the Pridelands or the train station there is no real reason to visit the area which I think works massively in our favour with it being quieter! You are so right that this only work before Rhythm of the Pridelands kicks out! 😂

Plaza Garden does not cost € 80,- . We always book the restaurants with our Disney hotel. Then diners wil cost you € 49,-

The cost for Plaza Gardens dinner is €80. If you have the meal plan it is cheaper as you take the price of your meal voucher away from the cost of the meal and pay the difference. But without the meal plan dinner is €80 and breakfast is €50.
