The other guy was informed and a good negotiator. Ultimately it boils down to knowing what you want and what you will give up for cards. The guy who said do you want to be right or do you want the card was dead on. I remember doing a deal on a Mantle rookie with cash, Jordan PSA 9, and other Mantle cards and it takes a while to process the numbers - stressful for sure. Also, turning your head when the guy is in front of you does not mean he can’t hear you 🤣 Great video. 👍

I think you should put the details of the exact trade in the description- I think you're right about the Charizard in a year plus, but I didn't process what all was being traded. I think that's a monster card though, and its probably a longer hold than 1 year. I got back into this hobby after collecting as a kid and going through the pain of the junk wax era and now I'm trying to build up again. At $10-12 I was buying, selling, trading thousands and after 3 years I'm just now getting back into multiple hundreds and a few thousand dollar cards. I can't wait to build up more and have more slabs and more fluidity. I'd appreciate any content on that subject. Maybe investment guides at a dollar specific range- so $20, 100, 1000, etc

feel like from his side if you need to have the early topps chrome greening explained to you in any way then you shouldn't be buying that card. When that level of money is involved you need to go away and become an expert on it, not learning on the job there and then. I guess that's where trust come in too, trusting the seller/trader. The zard isn’t going to a mil dude lol Pokemon is at its high right now , once all the scalping calms and Pokemon boosts its print like they jus announced the hobby will settle down and that’s gonna effect base set too. If anything it stays where it’s at....plus centering is off, regrade doesn’t get a 10, and any serious buyer will look at that.....that was a 10 cuz the card was graded when psa handed 10s out like candy years ago
