Glad you liked it! Meinl has some 'mini cajons' available which are very compact. But they are a little tricky to sit on due to the size. Worth checking out though!

I like to joke a lot about cajons, but they really are great instruments!

Have you looked at Kopf Percussion of Waycross, GA? I have their Kopf S-Series DeUno Snare Cajon. I absolutely LOVE it. Their craftmanship delivers a beautiful, deep, and warm tones with a fantastic response. They are hand made with everything from solid 3/4" birch to whatever woods YOU want! I love my Kopf so much that I ordered 2 more, including their PB American Tonewood BASS Cajon. Get rid of that $100 "box" and get yourself a REAL instrument. You will NOT be disappointed. Keep Drumming!

Second that, I have a few Kopf cajons. My latest is a solid walnut cahjn from the american tonewood collection with an extra set of snares added. Sounds and looks incredible. BTW- I enjoyed this video- great job.

All of the Schlagwerk cajons are nice, they record well too, just feel they're rather expensive but I like them!
