awhile ago I never would have wrote this. Account it to pride, fear of humiliation, insufficient faith, or all the above. Without revealing too much I will say that I am an African university student who took a huge leap of faith to study overseas.I have big plans for myself, my family and my country. As you may have guessed by now, finances are a bit of an issue...I have tried and tried to overcome it, but nothing is really working. Before listening to today's WOW I was battling with to thoughts: 1. Retreat, go back home and give up on everything. 2. Do something I know in my heart is wrong and somewhat dangerous, but may help me stay and finish my degree. I can't go back home as a failure so I was leaning towards option 2. I justified it further by telling myself "the ends, justify the mean". Today's WOW helped me realize that despite my reasoning, option 2 is not a viable choice. I know in my heart it's wrong and God would not want me to sin, even if it is for the "greater good". That is how interpreted today's WOW🙃. It is then that I realized that there is a third option, prayer. I pray from time to time when the going is really, really tough and I typically don't expect anything to manifest from it. I know this is wrong, I'll do better😊. My point is that there is always another option, in my case I think it's the hardest one. Los said one of the things that he loves about doing this vlogs is that y'all pray for each other. Please sneak me into your prayers. I know there are bigger problems in the world, but if you can, then please. If the 3rd option does not work out, I'll gracefully go home, knowing I've done the best I could without compromising my "innocence". I will know that there is something else out there for me. Thank you for reading this far. Let's keep praying for one-another, there is power in numbers😊. Do y'all agree? Am I just being a coward? Is option 2 actually the way to go? Let me know🙃😊. Hey Carlos and Alexa, really enjoying the vlogs and it's extremely satisfying to see the commitment you both have in sharing your day to day life, not to mention your approach to life. I don't normally write any comments, nor do I usually like videos and I'll be honest, I originally came upon this channel because I got nostalgic on BTR music lol. But I'm really digging the style of the vlogs and it is actually insane the amount of work you put into them - doing over 20 minute videos on a regular basis and also staying on top of things with everything else is nuts, so props to you Carlos (since by now, I can tell it's only you editing these hahaha). You've also taught me more about Christians, and being non-religious (sorry guys), I have to admit I enjoy the one on one talks at the end of videos, the way both of you approach life and I have nothing but respect for the two of you. I also think I've been watching too many vlogs, I've started to say "oh my gosh" instead of the alternative haha. Anyway, the point of this post wasn't to give my opinion the vlogs (they're epic, so keep on rolling), but just to say I hope you both get a bit more rest and that there's no need to apologise for the lack of vlogs, since people like myself won't mind waiting that bit longer for them. This will probably be the first and last post I make, so I hope you both all the best in the future with Ocean in mind, and keep on doing your thing... It really is epic.

welcome to the family Ariel!!! its so awesome to hear you wanted to give your heart to Jesus. As far as tips, all I can think to say is keep it simple. You don't have to have it all figured out. Its a journey. I would say to set some time throughout your day to have conversations with Him, like when your driving to work or doing dishes. Talk out your heart with Him. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom. Read the Word as often as you can. Get a journal and write out your prayers and thoughts and scriptures that move you. I stayed in the Psalms for a long time and they were so rich with wisdom. Don't feel pressured that it has to all look a certain way. He just likes us to spend time with Him, whatever that can look like. I'll be praying for you and I am so so so excited for you! Hallelujah!!!! :))))))
