Ange is smart in searching for what player is convenient for his squad and Gallagher is indeed a sensible option to have in his squad next season. In my opinion, I feel that Gallagher would intercept the ball from the opponents and finally assist the forwards such as Son, Werner, Kulu, Johnson etc to dribble the ball into the penalty area to score. What's more impressive about Gallagher is that the way he's preferring to shoot from long ranges.

I cant say I agree. Ange (or probably Fabio Paratici for at least 2 of them), signed 3 good players last summer Vicario, Van De Ven and Maddison, the rest have been fairly underwhelming, and Ange is becoming like Jose and Conte where we are restricted by the coach only being able to play one way and only recruiting for 1 way to play, ruling out tactical swaps. Arguably it has been the variety in our squad that has helped us pick up extra points in the second half of games, especially in the first half of the season, but I believe Ange will recruit multiple layers of the same crap to mean that no positive changes can be made next season, as we saw with jose and conte in their second seasons. Ange in 2 of his 3 attacking positions prioritizes blind pace over qualities like technical ability, creativity and goal threat, meaning opposition teams only need to neutralise 2 attacking players out of 4 in most games - 1 of which is Maddison, who is already playing out of position because ange can only play a playmaker in the centre and Maddison is a wide 10, where he has spent most of his career and where he is best. Ange is playing a top side with the brakes on because his footballing ideas are limited and havent been found out at lower level where he's spent most of his career.

@@ericglasson7140 Wrong, we arent in year one. We are in the third year and approaching the 4th summer transfer window of paratici's project to make spurs a top side. We now have something close to a top side and we are only 4 or 5 top players and 2 back ups away from having a top top squad. I like the return to attacking football, even though its predictable, fawed and very very basic but I also realise that Ange's football will stop us kicking on as a club though. In the modern game in the best league in the world, which we are in, you need your entire 4 to be capable of terrorizing the opposition with a balance of creativity, intelligence and goalthreat. You cant be sacrificing goalscoring positions in the front four for one dimensional pacy wingers every single game because the coach doesnt know any other ways to play, that is a massive handicap on the football and the results. Werner and Johnson combined are less effective than 1 Eriksen. Ive seen enough already to confidently say ange will fail for the same reasons that i knew jose would fail, because their attacking system (jose and ange are nearly identical in attacking system although jose had more plays) can only possibly work with an absolutely elite world class player in each of the front 4 positions and we dont have those and wont have those.

Absolutely shame. The shocking elimination of City, Arsenal, and Liverpool in Europe really destroyed Spurs' hopes on playing the Champions League by the virtue of finishing 5th. I personally wanted City and Arsenal to go through for an all-English semifinal and Liverpool to win the Europa League for Jurgen Klopp's farewell, but now all 3 of them are gone, along with West Ham United (Conference League holders).
