Why would Spurs sign players this window? Pundits keep harping on about it. It’s a stupid idea until a decision is made on Ange. Which will most likely happen in Feb or end of season. The top five is gone. New players won’t gel straight away and help the team win ten straight. Then if all the injured players do come back there are too many players. Spurs can only qualify for Europe by winning a cup. Even then it’s the third tier of European football. You have to hope Ange can get them up for one mighty cup run and possibly save his job.

The perfect storm of an owner that’s left the squad short for yet another season, a manager that refuses to change tactics or training methods that are destroying the players, and a medical team with a history of not being able to prevent or treat injuries effectively. It’s a truly worrying time to be honest. The little quality we have available in the team are running on fumes and the rest are so totally bang average. Generally, I AGREE with you and I am just over 70 and have been supporting Spurs since I was 13. However, Levy has to take some blame here because the squad has never had the required depth and he just won't spend the money. I can't see that sacking Ange will achieve anything. What worries me is that we are a little too close to the bottom three for comfort. I tend to agree with some of the comments on here about our medical team though. The amount of hamstring injuries is thought-provoking.

If training is an issue just suggests Spurs have no tough leadership in the squad, because they'd be banging on Ange door telling him his methods ain't working at this level of football. We however don't hear any such noises. This club needs total clear out at the very top starting with Levy as the owner who won't sell up and let go, so that's unlikely. So we either write this club off or support/follow the shambles it's become.

With only having Richy and Solanke up front I really don't know why we have Veliz out on loan. Richy sadly has never made the grade and Solanke showed against the Gooners he is far from a great striker. Even so as he is now injured we have no recognised centre forward discounting Richy. Some of the youtube goals I have seen for Veliz, when in Argentina, I would have thought at least should have kept him in the 1st team squad and with us using 18 year olds, to great effect, than perhaps he could fit in nicely
