Bei THE 69 EYES steht ein tolles, neues Album namens "Death Of Darkness" an! Um darüber (und viele andere Dinge) zu sprechen, trafen wir den gut gelaunten und äußerst sympathischen Jyrki 69 in der Zeche Bochum, wo die Band am gleichen Abend noch ein fantastisches Konzert geben sollte. Wir plauderten gleich drauf los. Die Aufnahme startet an einem Punkt, an dem Jyrki erklärt, warum er lieber persönliche Gespräche führt, statt z.B. Mail-Interviews zu beantworten. Den Rest hört einfach selbst!

THE 69 EYES are coming up with a great new album called "Death Of Darkness"! To talk about that (and many other things) we met up with the good-humoured and extremely personable Jyrki 69 at the Zeche Bochum, where the band was going to give a fantastic concert that same evening. We started chatting straight away. The recording starts at a point where Jyrki explains why he prefers face-to-face conversations to for example answering email interviews. Just hear the rest yourself!

Very nice interview. The 69 Eyes are such a close group of friends and I love how dedicated they are to thier music and fans. Jyrki is so talented and works very hard to share his talent with all of us. He really is a kind caring person. Their music really feeds energy into me and I can feel it.
