I’m not an RN (yet) but I work in the hospital and do 4-8 hr shifts. I am teeeeerrrrrrible about self care. Today I had to pee so badly and I actually had to talk myself in to taking a break to go to the bathroom. Literally, I had to force myself to pee. It’s insane and hilarious writing that out, but that’s #nurselife.

I really need to work on self care in them area of working out & eating better. I am good with getting rest, reading and drinking water. After becoming a nurse my blood pressure has been out of control, I always have a headache.

I bought 7 Habits...by Steve Covey Years ago and still haven't finished it, but definitely grear pointers. My Dad and one of my closest friends are both RNs and one is a midwife now! I'm a 2nd yr Med student. Just subscribed and i'm enjoying your posts and you are naturally beautiful btw!
