To anyone considering tripping here's what you need to know: please be aware that the mental and emotional effects were not well described in this video. Yes, the perceptual and cognitive effects are well documented but those are only a tiny fraction of the experience relative to the flood of emotions. With most substances (including classic LSD, Mushrooms, and DMT) most people will get a hightened anxiety, nervousness, and general physical discomfort at the start (come-up) which is often unexpected and can be very difficult (usually impossible!) to control in the traditional sense. The video presents the first few levels as "controllable if you focus" which is true of the perceptual side effects but it is false of the emotional side effects. Learning how to LET GO and let the experience take you where it will is essential but it's MUCH easier said than done. Yes, bad trips lead to the most learning and growth but can also have a traumatic component that hightens anxiety for months after the trip. Use extreme caution. If you don't respect these substances, you will get hurt sooner or later. Good trips are most common, just immense fun and beauty. Bad trips are good because you learn about yourself from them even if, in the moment, you had a tough time emotionally. Terror trips leave you with life-long PTSD. First time? Start with a low to average dose, see how you react for 2-3 hrs. Stay safe and good luck. Let. Go.

Everyone kept falling off the stage cuz we decided to pick the most colorful stage you can fight on. The warping visuals and the constant rush of random thoughts makes it extremely difficult to concentrate on anything. My mind was blown from all the colors just flying out of the TV at me.

The first time I ever did Psilocybin was one I'll never forget. My legs felt so light, and I had the overwhelming urge to just start walking. I walked about 6km to the other end of my town, and then back again for a total of 12. It was like the power stopped at my midsection; my legs felt light as air. Colors were so much more vibrant and I just had this overwhelming appreciation for the structure of the universe. I thought repeatedly how much nature and the cosmos should be appreciated more, how the design of the world around me was just so incredible and I had to acknowledge it.

Here's a friggin psychedelic story--Level 8? Though I'm older (60), I smoke weed for back pain and have for a long time. About 14 years ago, I had moved to Texas and nowhere to get any...so got some legal "salvia" from a local head shop who said it was " like a weaker form of weed." Anyone who really knows (and I didn't) could tell you it's like mega-DMT. I had no idea, and that night ripped a single hit from a bong, laid down and hoped to get a bit tired or mellow. The next thing I knew, I was in front of some kind of "being," like a librarian, saying,"The story of (my name) is over" and had me hand him a tape/cd of my life recorded. Next, I was nack in my bedroom with 3 beings by the side door (I don't remember what they looked like), two were at computers punching in 0's/1/s...(I remember thinking "they are using binary," and third scowled at me "you are nothing but a hologram and we control you." Then, he started making the walls disappear, like panels on the holodeck on Star Trek...I was paniced and begged him to stop, not to do it to my dog who was on the opposite side floor (so they did, lol) along with everything else until nothing was left. They had no empathy, more like hatred-filled, and after they made all disappear, and I was left alone in what seemed to be an eternal, black, silent void. I felt overwhelming dispair; kind of said f-it, and let myself dissolve. Then, it felt that I saw "thrown," felt a thud, and found I landed on the hardwood floor in the sphinx-position...else I would have cracked my skull open. Please Understand: At that time (2008 or so), there was no "holographic simulation" theory around as there is today. I would not have randomly made up being in a "hologram"--as if I ever gave holograms any thought. Ditto with respect to thinking about "binary numbers." I may have seen the Matrix when it came out about 10 years before, but I didn't like it or ever think about it, so could not have been "primed" to make this up from that. The experience was as real as reality feels to me now as I type this. I am not a bullshitter or kook--I have a Ph.D., retired professor, well published and level-headed. I was also familiar with psychodelics having done my share back in my own college days. This was nothing like, well anything I ever experienced before or since. This incident shook me up so much, that after, I spent years and a lot of money traveling with my wife (who went for the fun of adventure/traveling...I never told her this story to this day, lol) all over the world for answers. Egypt, Cambodia, Vietnam, Turkey, Malta, France, India, Peru, Bolivia, Belieze, Guatamala, etc. etc. all in search of answers/hints from both spiritual folks in some of those places, and perhaps glimpses of reality to explain wtf happened that one bad salvia day (and then, a real weird thing that happened to us in Peru that borders on the impossible too). The eternal black void haunts the shit outta me. Sorry--this was long. I haven't vented on this for a while. I can't vouch or not for what I experienced...but I think you can tell it was more than nothing. I since, have had many reality "glitches" paranormal stuff and amazing synchronicities in my life. All I can and have absolutely concluded is reality is not what we think it is, and anyone claiming to have a clue is actually clueless. I sure the F hope it doesn't simply boil down to a hologram--that's for sure.

I’ve heard so many bad things about Salvia. Salvia is the ONLY hallucinogen that I’ve done. It was in 2006 and I had an absolutely incredible experience. I mixed it with cannabis to create a cushion. I also did it with my husband in our home, alone in a sacred ceremonial type setting. I truly believe Salvia is the most strict of plants and demands respect. I studied it for months before making my purchase and I spoke to it and thanked it before and after. I too saw the hologram it told me that my husband and I created the world we live in together. I saw that we have been traveling together in different forms and relationships to one another since the beginning of time (even that we were a form of “Adam and Eve” so to speak). I had a psychic premonition of a small event in my life that I didn’t realize was that until it happened about 3 months later. I saw code all around me, binary code I guess it was very similar to the matrix. I don’t really smoke weed ever but in this period of my life for about a year I was experimenting with things. This day was the day I learned this world was not AT ALL what it seems and like the OP my studying began. One hit of Salvia Div changed my ENTIRE view on the world. It was gentle with me and kind. I remember thinking the whole time “I’m not afraid, wow I’m not afraid” because I’m legit scared of everything 😂😅 I think set, setting, intention and REVERENCE most importantly are crucial when doing salvia. IMO. 🙏🏽🤍

Your description of a heavy experience really helped put into context my last acid trip....25 years ago, it scared me off psychedelics possibly for life! I was tripping so hard, and was seeing the most insane, complex, and mind blowing geometric puzzles spiraling, changing, the most incredible thing I've ever seen in my life! So yeah, I was having a fabulous trip, so I thought it was a great idea when my friend suggested taking more! So I took 5 more hits and within a very short time I became completely overwhelmed and terrified of everything! I saw my friend with about 8 heads, all stacked up and then the world exploded into static. I remember saying "I took too much acid" but in this weird slow man's voice and stumbled into my bedroom and collapsed onto the floor. The terror and panic I felt is indescribable, the worst fear possible. And yes, I met an entity, THE ENTITY. It was the motherboard that runs the universe. That's all I can say. I saw the man behind the curtain on that trip, and it left me with the feeling that I was NOT supposed to see what I saw. I think I've seen all I need to when it comes to psychedelics, but I'm still fascinated with them, their power is truly awesome .

Did anyone else start getting flash backs while watching this .. ? I literally felt every species of psychedelic mushroom, along with every micro dose of every hallucinogen I've ever tripped -in my entire life -all the way from the first time I tripped face off 2grams of mushrooms.. one thing I'll add ... At least in my own personal experience, along with many fascinating conversations I've had with other "experienced" trippers.. the more you trip, the better you get. By 5hat I mean, the better you get at at tripping, and being able to handle those memorizing-face -melting experiences; such like, when one finds themselves on the tipping point of reality, going in and out forgetting who they are or why your there, not a clue of where your at, or what you even are... in any form at all. Trip more often, and you learn certain techniques that can help deter an all out "freak-out". Granted, that's if your dose wasn't too-toooo high. Better to trip with a light/medium experience.. that's when you learn to do the "magic" in those mushrooms, as you begin to experience the world through the eyes of the "shaman"... Most people won't believe it until they trip themselves, but every trip we take, we alter our lives permanently. Depending on how we developed as a tripper, this shall either welcome it's-self as an enduring positive transformation, that forces us to break free from our material delusions, or it will be a highly detrimental experience and will undoubtedly drive a person to the brink of insanity. this is why it's better to learn to trip when you can manage the trip itself, and actually remember the experience! When this is done, you can actually begin to use the psychedelic experience of tripping to 'open doors & open windows' into literally alternate dimensions that your consciousness wakes up into, when you no longer are tripping. Or ofcourse shuts down and sinks/slips further into a world which you have no control over. The question is however, did we ever really have any control over our lives or did we just perceive it that way? I personally have proven to myself through my experiences that that depending on my actions and my thoughts and my deeds that I perform while tripping, it literally controls the alternate universe I live in today, which personally, I prefer to any alternative I could have woken up to if I never experienced the magic of shape shifting realities. That said, Great Video.. well said and stated with the many basic initial introductions into the layers of tripping , love those memorizing visuals as well, pretty accurate I felt too, at least from how I remember all my trips. So remember friends, neighbors, and strangers, trip clean, trip easy, and don't be surprised if everything about your life changes after you took that first trip, and instead take that trip by horns of the bull, and wrestle that mean, intimidating creature, into a form of personal enlightenment and complete positive transformation. Do the drugs, don't let the drugs do you!

A couple of points I want to add: - The intensity of emotions. Psychedelic experiences on every level can be really intensely emotional depending on your mindset and what you're going through in life. I know this video is talking more about general effects and emotions are more personal, But you should know these experiences differ person to person and you might experience some difficult emotions. - Personally for me synesthesia happens even on lower levels. - Spiritual and mystical internal experiences that can be quite transformative might happen on lower doses as well, you don't need to get to level 6-7 to experience that sort of thing. Psychedelic experiences just feel mystical because of how they change your perception of reality, If you truly embrace the experience and look inwards, it'll 100% be spiritual even if you're only taking 1.5g of mushrooms.

I think I got to level 6 once on acid, but it may have just been high level 5. I would certainly appear unconcious to others, but I was not, I was completely unaware of my real enviornment or my body though. I remember floating out of my body, looking at it thinking "if i'm here what happens to it", which quickly stopped mattering as ego dissolved completely. Flew through some trippy space (amnesia starts kicking in here), until I arrive in an infinite expanse of swirling conciousness and energy, in awe at first but then merging with it. In that state everything just made sense, and felt more real than anything I have ever experienced.. Spent probably 2 hours in that part, followed by return to the lesser ego death state, and a period of trying to piece my mind back together, convinced if I did not I would never come back. When I did finally come down I was so excited to share the experience with my friends, only to find I could not, still not done processing it myself, unable to communicate the experience in a way that made sense, and also having some trouble speaking in general. For many months I was not entirely convinced I was not still in the trip, but not to a level where it caused problems. It was one of the most profound experiences of my life, but it also made me terrified to touch psychadelics again for a long while.

So about a month ago I took my first LSD trip. It was in a small hut near a forest with 2 of my friends, so 3 people, but only 2 of us (luckily) took the acid. Me being me, I wanted to have the full psychedelic experience, so I took one tab which was supposedly 200μg. For about an hour nothing much really happened. I was a little giggly, but that may have been just from the excitement. In the next 30 minutes, some visual distortions started appearing. Dinosaurs in the trees, Auschwitz children on the ceiling, Lenin on the right side of my friend's face. Anything with a slightly more complex texture like leaves, bark, stone walls, etc. my brain would just expand recursively into more and more complex patterns. The effects were especially pronounced outside where it was dark since it was kinda late at night so we tried to spend as much time as possible there to explore our newly attained senses and not get cold while doing so. My friends also took this opportunity to smoke some weed. They were also drinking beer throughout the night. Usually, at these kinds of events, I drink and smoke as well, but since it was my first time on acid, I wanted to have as vanilla of an experience as possible, so I restrained myself. Looking back, maybe I should have drank as well since alcohol and weed apparently weaken the effects. At this stage it was really fun, everything felt new and exciting and me and my friend felt like explorers of a brand-new world. That feeling lasted for about 15 minutes after which the weird stuff began. We were just sitting down at a table discussing the effects, trying to explain what it feels like to our "sober" friend. It was late at night, I felt a little drowsy and the visuals were starting to get a little overwhelming, so I put my head down into my crossed arms to lay down and relax for a while, but the moment I did that, I lost all control over my body and my mind just went nuts. Fractals of infinite complexity, everything just spinning around. I thought: "This is it. This is the trip. I'm just gonna enjoy myself for the next 8 hours". Every sound, colour and thought, they all were just a part of this abstract painting that me and my friends were painting together. It felt like we were bouncing thoughts and ideas back and forth between each other all equally contributing to the final image of the evening. At some point, I lost track of which thought is mine and which isn't and I just went with the flow. I still felt very excited, so I just enjoyed the ride for the next 10 minutes trying to figure out the rules of the new world we were in. Well, I say 10 minutes, but honestly from here on out time stopped making sense so any time information I give can be wildly inaccurate. Thinking that I have figured it all out, I started laughing out loud uncontrollably. To my sober friend it looked like I was laughing at his joke which apparently wasn't that funny to the degree I was laughing, so he knew something was up, but honestly, I wasn't a part of that conversation for the last 10 minutes and I don't remember anything he said. Anyway, he tries to check up on me if I'm all right. I'm trying to answer back because I can somewhat hear him but it feels like I'm 5 layers under reality and to get anything out is a challenge. Any coherent sentence that I try to formulate comes out just as random sounds and squeaks. My friend now knows that I'm not good and so he grabs me and turns on the lights. Mind you, until this point, we tried to make the inside of the room as dim as possible so that we enhance the effects. So he turns the lights on and BAM ... I'm awake, back in the real world ... for about 5 seconds after which I dropped back again into my daydreaming group session. Anyway, the way my friend tried to wake me up made me think that an ambulance was called and I got a panic attack thinking that I ruined the night. After all, it was my first time, so it could have been too big of a dose for me. I really didn't know what was going on with my body. By now, I could be somewhere completely else on stretchers carried by paramedics for all I knew. To make it all worse I knew 8 more tabs were lying on a table and my friend was talking the whole night about taking another one as he didn't feel the effects for the first hour thinking that we took only a quarter of a tab, not a whole. So I thought we took the rest as well. This made my anxiety spike even more. Given this moment I'd like to also thank my sober friend who didn't take acid with us giving me one small sense of hope. So by now I pretty much wasn't sure of what is real and what isn't. I saw recurring images of all the possible night iterations where I either am carried away by paramedics or I'm still just lying down on a mattress next to a fireplace or we are still outside exploring all at the same time. It felt like I got one deja vu every second. It also felt like only by thought I can control the outcome of the night. Any thought that I had felt as real as if it was really happening at that moment so I tried to think as positively as possible. My friend tried to wake me up to give me some water. I'm back again in the real world for another 5 seconds of rest time. This time I'm just scared shitless hoping for it to end ... it didn't. Any attempt to wake me up from here on out would just reassure me into thinking that the paramedic storyline is real. At this point, I started to feel like time is going backwards. My thoughts were going forward, but key moments from the night started appearing again and again, and thoughts that I had before at some given moment, which didn't make sense at the time, now suddenly started making sense only in the context of the future. So yeah ... for the next six hours I was just really miserable hoping for everything to end and that what I was thinking isn't real. When I finally came back after these 6 hours, at first, I wasn't sure if I was really back or if this wasn't just another hallucination. My first memory after waking up is of my friend talking to me, but I wasn't really paying attention since he could have been just a product of my imagination so no meaning in answering. After about 5 minutes I realized, that yes, this really is the real world. I wasn't even happy or anything that I'm back. I was just so drained of any will to live after trying for hours to communicate and not being able to. Well, that concludes the story of my very first and as of now only psychedelic trip. I don't know if I want to try this ever again, maybe sometime, but definitely with a smaller dose. I'm not sure where would my experience rank in the context of this video, but I'd say at least a 4. Definitely a strong thought provoking experience. I'm still thinking about it quite often. For anyone still reading, thank you for your time, sorry for my rant and any mistakes that I've made (I'm not native). I just wanted to write down somewhere my experience. I hope your trips go better than mine. Trip safe. PS: Visuals in this video are VERY accurate. Probably the best I've seen on yt.

It's entirely possible but I don't have any good k-hole replications, for example. At this point, I'll probably make a video on deliriants before dissociatives, because there are plenty of people replicating that experience within the community.

My buddy helped me out of a negative headspace in my trip which wasn't by any means a bad trip. I was in a bad situation in life so he let me vent to him and he gave me his advice. There's definitely something special about talking with someone when you're both tripping. It's no wonder why governments keep them illegal. Hell, I've never really had a "bad trip." Weed always causes more anxiety, paranoia and clouds up my psychedelic trips. The difference between acid and shrooms is probably subjective but for me acid is more "electric" and you as the tripper guide the ride while mushrooms seem to be more 'wavy' and 'earthy' and they tell you where the trip is going to go. Its so hard to put in words, but there definitely are nuances imo.
@adabofeverything71202 жыл бұрын
Well.. if this says enough. I did acid at least 12 different times before my first shroom trip, and my mind was so dead set on what a general "trip" was supposed to look like, shrooms forever weird me the fuck out. They are too different of a ride, and my mind can never take them. Haha

@michaelhoste_2 жыл бұрын
@@b.entranceperium Electric vs earthy/wavy is pretty accurate. But I also think that acid is a bit more of a wild card - there are many different acid experiences that kind of get structured out of the situation. Frequently, the metaphorical effects predominate over tbe visual so that you are effectively having a completely mental experience (that sounded funny). I treat acid with a lot of respect. Be mindful of where you want to be - in a safe, flexible, escapable space with the right people, or with no one if preferred. It's so difficult to pin this stuff down. This is why people feel so compelled to talk about it. I meant to write two sentences and I still can't shut up!

I also experienced lucid dreams which I haven't had for many years, and even astral travel on a couple of occasions during sleep. This tells me even tobacco can diminish the memories of dreams similar to weed and have an effect on Seratonin and Melatonin. When I accidentally took between 9-15 hits of acid I definitely made it to what she describes as level 6. I can’t remember a lot of the trip, I only really remember coming up and then coming down, but the effects were immediate after taking. 20 minutes after eating the sugar cubes, my entire body was vibrating and I could not hear my friend yelling my name right next to me until his maybe fifth try. The rest of what I remember is mildly stereotypical of a hero dose, autonomous entities and all the rest but what really keeps me up is having gone unconscious with my eyes open (or so my friends tell me) while peaking. There is roughly 4 hours of my trip that I cannot account for, having apparently just sat on a couch staring at a wall with my eyes wide open. I don’t really remember drifting off but I do remember the intensity increasing to the point of knowing all I could do was sit down and ride it out. I really wonder where I went during my peak but something tells me I’m not supposed to know considering how difficult it was to come back to reality after that one. I basically had to relearn how to be a human entirely and I still have my struggles regarding. I was 16 at the time and am 23 now, too much acid for probably anyone, let alone a 16 year old. Thanks for reading!!! Love to you

I remain indifferent to the specifics of the supernatural but since that trip I have even had my share of what I personally deem to be mystical experiences, often wondering if that trip pushed me into that world. While psychedelics can change your life for better or worse, I do often believe they are not for everyone, especially in massive doses. I never done shrooms, but I’ve been practicing meditation and looking into all old eastern philosophy and way of life like Buddhism, Taoism, zen, ect... heavily for years, getting deeper and trying to understand what this life is. So I have had some of these experiences in the video in my head in deep meditation. From seeing hallucinations, some geometric shapes(not as intense as the high level shroom dose but can get very interesting), talking to entities or spirits and being able to feel there presence, astral projection, knowing everything is one. my experience u eventually feel the wobble of your soul when your thoughts calm down and less come in, and if u keep calm u end up forgetting U have a body or realizing the imagine u are looking at has been in your head the whole time, making me realizing everything comes from within and we control it, answers come to u too in the same way it was described in the video. If u practice and can astral project u feel a tug from the body and by this time your thoughts are way less not many thoughts if any, they almost more come to u more as like a lesson or something u are supposed to see for growth, but u aren't attached to the thought in the same way u normally are u realize its a thought and u can choose not to connect with that thought and u are more viewing the thought more than identifying with it.. besides that it’s just peaceful bliss and i mean beyond comprehension peaceful bliss, u see "the light" they talk ab after dying everything gets bright like the sun is in your eyes out of no where, even tho your eyes are closed and probably in your room. at this point u understand everything is one and there's no describing it, u understand there's an afterlife bc u are literally out of your body, u felt the tug out.. at certain points before this u see a blue ball, that can move or create shapes, even hallucinations ive seen soooo many. and that’s said to be your higher self, soul, spirit something like that and it can communicate through subconscious imagery like scenarios. Basically u are now tapped in to the subconscious and if u know how to communicate with entities u can and they will communicate through the imagery like i said and from my experience u use emotion and imagery to communicate back., theres def some negative energies out there but if u ignore them and understand love is stronger than them it quickly vanishes into a peaceful state. which is where to start to astral project if u practice. u calmly wait and then since u have much control over your head at this point its able to use the imagery in a dream like viewing that u can feel entities messages.. u even can almost see a face that it creates a image of off energy and the blue ball. I know when u breath a certain way your lungs release natural dmt. Our lives are literal dreams states that we can create and change by emotion and through thought the heart chakra being the most powerful manifesting tool, feeling the love and gratitude for what u have already. When u want something that indicates subconsciously u don’t have it, since this is a dream like state and responds off how u feel not what U think, so u gotta be thankful for having what u have or what u want and almost pretend u have it already ,know it’s yours just based off thought, the universe brings it to u. Anyone should look up Neville Goddard, Alan watts, Terrence McKenna a couple very interesting people. And if your interested in different levels of meditation look up the 7 stages of Jhana. i found it interesting the similarities ive had with this video but i understand why. i do believe more in them being beings of light tbh tho.

Pretty great analysis and ranking, and I got to say, the visuals were pretty convincing that I was tripping. As a 46 year old, experienced with acid and shrooms since the early 90's, level 2 is at most what you'd want to do as a beginner. Level 3 is done solo only with experience and a positive, controllable setting. Level 4 and above only with a sitter or at least multiple friends with you on a trip. Trust me, I ended up putting myself in the ER only on a level 3 after years of abstinence and thinking I could handle it on my own in an uncontrolled setting (nature hike, bad trip, poisonous bugs attacked me!). I do agree with your comment at the end of the 6th stage, it's just not worth it. Although I do think I experienced "ego death" somewhere between level 4 and 5 once when I was younger. It profoundly changed my outlook on life and the way I carry myself, sometimes not for the better. I became more existentially nihilistic, withdrawn, and very low self esteem (I basically saw humans as no matter how much you achieve, you're always insignificant, weak, and not even a speck of meaning to the greater power of whatever it is) . Experiencing these things don't always improve you....I didn't expect to keep adding to this lol, I'll stop.

I have had a nihilistic period as well and I would seriously recommend checking out optimistic nihilism. Impressive , and you know your stuff young lady. I am 69 years of age now and hav logged in many mind excursions. I still have one kind of experience on LSD that never occurred again. I was 19 at the time, and was camping with two buddies . We each took a full dose of blotter acid which supposedly came from Tim Leary's lab. The dot on the paper was the size of a quarter. One hour later I felt myself being led away from my friends whom I wouldn't see until the next day. I felt as if something powerful was coming and I was helpless. Tne next thing I know , I was standing on a rock in the middle of the woods arched backwards with my spine in a back- curved position. I was missing my jacket, belt and one shoe and 17 hours had passed. After recalling enough pieces of the experience through the next several months, I realized that I had fallen into a trance state of consciousness. What I recalled was a metaphorical story of my life and beyond. I could write a book just based on that one experience. . . . so there may be yet another level of experience . . . . the psychedelic Trance level.

One thing you didn't mention, that becomes more noticeable as you age, is the enhancement and distortion of memory. This effect can be tremendous even at low or micro doses. Memories that are long forgotten from many years ago can come flooding in as if the events only just happened. At higher doses the immediate chaos, euphoria, and ego loss tend to negate most of these effects.

One thing that would’ve been a nice addition would’ve been the visual representation of people under these different states. Being in nature and in a friendly, familiar setting is key to staying on the good side of an intense trip, but I think it’s important to discuss and be aware of potential downsides as well. Seeing what happens to people was one of the craziest visuals I’ve ever had and ultimately kept me from continuing to use psychedelics. I believe I reached the “strong level” but was not in an ideal setting and unfortunately it ruined tripping for me. I had probably 100+ awesome experiences and one bad one turned all future experiences into negative ones. I believed I had seen a demon or devil of some kind at the time, although now I feel like I may have just seen the outlines and edges and shapes being extended and intensified to a degree that completely changed the appearance of people into ghastly grotesque humanoid figures. Ugh. Just thinking about it gives me chills.

But the blink transition like at 10:10 is SO good, I'd find myself trying to re-blink again to reset what I was seeing sometimes bc I'd figured I'd just blinked wrong or something. But some personal context that this vid reminds me of - DO NOT underestimate all the effects that weren't shown visually or auditorily, that were read out or shown listed on screen. At 9:15 they mention your thoughts seeming more significant - oftentimes your thoughts will come to you more as if they're some reality-breaking realization, like a cascade of repeating "aha!" moments from playing a puzzle game. Even the most nonsensical ideas become *very* believable when you combine some of the listed effects like delusion, emotional intensification and enhanced spirituality. If you're fighting the trip, you'll get driven down the trip even harder because of your pattern-seeking brain trying to make sense of it all. Multiple effects will feed off each other to create that feeling of physically or spiritually being somewhere else. A lot of the visuals in the video at face value just seem cool-looking and trippy. But when you're in the headspace of the trip, you ascribe meaning to them and they stop being shapes, and start being stand-ins for some greater *thing* you're thinking of. Your sight will bleed over into the things you feel physically, and you'll get placebo'd seeing a ball you hold wrap itself around your hands, and you'll feel the ball grabbing back at you. When you see faces, you'll pair them up with the hands and deduce that there must be people all around you. If there's people all around you, you must be being watched - and if you're being watched, maybe you're also being recorded. Maybe you get some sense of de'ja vou - like maybe you've seen yourself in this moment before. From the recording that's being taken? - Which would mean all of this has already happened, as you're currently living it. Which means you're living in the past? Or the people you saw before are living in the future? Which means that time must be flat if you saw them earlier at the same time as you've been existing, which means maybe life is only viewed *subjectively* in a linear way, but really all exists at the same time. If time is flat, surely you'd be able to hear every sound you'll ever hear if you just listen close enough - and sure enough it comes, voices of all the people you've ever known or people you haven't met yet. Sounds you hear repeat and layer over eachother like a recording that records itself, but doesn't seem to come from anywhere at all. And when you see the spinning, multi-colored tesseracts like at 1:17 and, possibly, these could be the source of the sound - all of the time-flat lives that surround you that you could never see before when time was linear. But if you can see them now, where does that mean you're at now? A place where physics don't make sense anymore, and time is flat and infinite, but you can pretty solidly say you're not dreaming, yet you're outside of your own life able to experience it if you only focus hard enough. If your trip leads you to believing that you must be dead, and you weren't ready to die yet, good luck - don't dig too deep into your thoughts, don't try to make too much sense of it, and take everything as it comes at face value.

Excellent video. I’ve always noticed that objects can take on a off kilter position appearing to sit at odd angles as if they’re slightly tilted. The breathing and morphing in this video is spot on . A lot of times I’ve had these kaleidoscope wheels that would grow and turn in my whole vision . There is definitely a anxiety factor that goes up the higher the dose . I think it was a great point to make about what is therapeutic and enjoyable in going up on dosage . These are just my personal experiences on psychedelics and I am aware of the fact that they are not always shared by others . Your scale really makes me wonder just how much of these substances I was taking years ago lol .

Just felt and looked like a force/void trying to pull me in forever and I thought I was seconds away from dying for a few hours. I look back on it all fondly now, but when it happened I just wanted out.

Much much research has been done for decades, but it's getting very popular now. Psyilcybin can be used to treat PTSD, drug and alcohol addiction, to cure depression and anxiety, grief, and a whole manner of different mental afflictions. Many states in the U.S are pushing to decriminalize. It's an uphill task, but it's getting there slowly. Mushrooms really are a cure all miracle substance. They helped cure my depression in ways that are indescribable. Many countries in Europe are also pushing to decriminalize, and are using psychedelics in similar research. I think the issue the government's have, is how to make money off it. Of course it's always about money, and never about helping people. The world is changing though. There is a huge psychedelic revolution happening. When you look into history and ancient traditions like shamanism, then plant medicines were a huge part of thier culture. And to be honest, I feel that is what is lacking in modern society, we lost touch with our natural healers and teachers, and then the world went to shit. It will come back, it's inevitable.

@josikinz I think that in describing subjective experience it is also important to mention two more things: The phenomenon of fractality. Fractals are not just patterns and textures. This is a form of perception that can cover the entire spectrum of perception, from the fractal detailing of visual perception to the direct experience of the fractality of consciousness itself. And the second thing is the lack of perception of time, which leads to the experience of eternity.

Extraordinary and very accurate work. After half a century as a psychonaut, I fully endorse this video and recommend it as essential viewing for intending first-time trippers, and anyone involved in, or intending to become involved in, work as a psychedelic companion. Please, not ‘guide’, or ‘therapist’. The essential point is the intrinsic wisdom … just keep them safe and resist the temptation to ‘subtly suggest stuff’. There are more than enough charismatic, narcissistic ‘gurus’ and ‘life coaches’ out there … BTW, it was also a little bit mind-blowing seeing some of my favourite psychedelic locales from the last fifty years. Mt Macedon (even the amenities block at the bottom of the hill …), the Botanic Gardens. I actually found some lovely shrooms there, before they dug that section up and re-landscaped it. Eyes open ! :))

I’m not sure who will read this but I want to share it with you people. I had taken small amounts of psilocybin before but this time I prepared a lemon-tek using high quality ingredients, distilled water, and an 3.5g of blue cap mushrooms. I was dark alone in my room listening to healing music and it hit hard. Music made me nauseous and I could not keep my eyes open. I felt anxious. I felt the vibration and pressure. I was lifting off the rocket. I was seeing my room and myself while I laid down with my eyes closed. I saw a golden like watch / gears in my room from. What looked like fairy or elf faces and the feeling of gold bright and beautiful. Instantly after I recognized this I was led down a metal tunnel. I flew down. I felt scared. I saw the room fall apart. I was given visions of a 3-dimension green line grid. Insight that life IS like a simulation. And that I am blessed time moves so slowly because it is truly a world wind of powerful energy in this dimension. That humans are somewhere in the lower middle. That sleeping in our way and being “comfy” is truly a human thing. That comfort is different here. Time is short here you must act if you want to achieve but, do be grateful for what you are and have. After this I feel like I landed in a Windows 2001 looking screensaver environment with basic bright colors shapes and the feeling that this was a circus 🎪. At this realization a wobbly half funny looking Jester appeared. Told me something about being not ready for “up there” quite yet. And that I had questions of the afterlife (I did) and what the meaning of life is. It knew this and responds, “Yep it’s real! Let’s go take a look at what it looks like!!!!” It told me I could have been a beam of light traveling through empty spaces where I am then doing exactly that for what felt like 5 minutes or so. After it says, I could’ve been a bug! Where I am some type of respected chief insectoid, pass away with an honorable funeral, and am reborn as another insectoid who gets eaten alive as a baby. (I did not feel fear or pain) After it shows me on a private jet plane and tells me, “You’ll get here but at what cost? Look how serious you are.” and begins to point and laugh at me. I then see myself playing piano Jester says, “and look at you here!!!” laughing again at how serious I take it all. He was absolutely right. After this it felt like I was given knowledge about who I was to be or information on how to decide my time in life. I was then given information about my family and the genetic tree that is real and contains the selves and information of precious relatives which can help determine skill sets. I was also explained how past lives versions of ourselves or alternate timelines or lives are real and was given explanations as to why my family was the way it was. I felt I understood much more. After this Jester told me, “Well, now we will watch the cycle of life!” where I was shown for what felt like half the trip and hours of a younger deer 🦌 standing i. the forest eating dying rotting having the earth recycle it’s bones and it all happening again over and over with images of the fibonacci sequence and similar seashell shapes showing and over and over again. Here I could especially feel my heart beat out of my chest and thought I was going to die which I had actually accepted. I felt I did this to myself and wanted to know more and boy did I get what I wished for. My life has changed since. I understand a lot more now and I am grateful. Jester man did what he had to do and I am grateful and thankful. I did not touch and psychadlics after this until one year later where 100-300mg had me seeing light level 1 very basic visuals with a message and presence that said, “Why are you here again boy? It is not your time and you are not ready for anything here. You are not welcome right now.” After this I quite literally discarded the rest of the mushrooms and waited under my covers in bed to come down. The next time after this was perhaps another 1 maybe 2 years after where I was able to have mushroom chocolates with a girl I was dating who I said I would tripset with. I took as much as she did which was perhaps 1-1.5g but I certainly still felt the effects strongly where we watched the entirety of, “The Midnight Gosepl”. The feeling began on the launch pad again but with a very powerful holy feeling presence staring right at me together with her in my arms. It told me, “I see you here. Do not do anything you’re not supposed to. Behave.” as if I felt I was allowed in. I could see the tentacles or eyes and with the powerful presence felt it was an angel. I cried briefly from this and bowed my head and said I understood thanked it and that I must be strong with her. It was a beautiful scary thoughtful experience that night and helped me organize lots of those thoughts and feelings from my true first breakthrough. I understand it all more now. Maybe one day i’ll go back there to visit but I feel I understand what I must do. Thank you for reading.

One thing which I especially find very helpful about this video from a harm reduction standpoint is that is allows one to more easily determine what their limits are in terms of dosage in different sets and settings in a very systematic manner. For instance, watching your video, it's very clear to me that my limit for any sort of rave, festival, party, etc. is level 2. For being in public in situations like if I want to go for a walk in the park to enjoy nature, level 3 is my limit. With level 4 or higher, I know that I definitely need to be in the comfort of my own home and have a sober sitter around at least on an on call basis somewhere nearby if I choose to journey alone just in case I need some support. I would have benefitted greatly from resources like this when I was in my honeymoon phase with psychedelics and didn't have access to this kind of information which allows to anticipate know exactly how much tripping I can handle for a given situation.

Level 5 is where the fun begins. You have taken small doses & got level 2-3 & giggled with each other. It's time to see what they can really do. It's so hard to describe the chaos of weird visions, journeys & places you go & things you talk to. Taking a large dose is very set dependent as you will not be in control or even in this world anymore for a while. Always be in a good mood when you do it & not tired or stressing. I think one of the biggest problems is people taking to little & there mind doesn't cross over fast enough & they just get a mind f#ck & think to much. Don't be scared better to take a little stronger than not enough since it won't hurt you. Enjoy the ride :)
@neomage20212 жыл бұрын
My only level 5 so far has been on a solo ayahuasca experience. The first part at about 45 minutes in was extreme visuals lasting about 20 minutes....then boom completely sober. I was confused because this is supposed to last hours. I do a few household chores for about 30 minutes then decide to lay back down. Good thing I decided to go back to the bedroom, because after laying for a few more minutes, the real super wave hit. Time and space ceased to exist and what happened next could only be described as a 3 ride through a universe of total chaos.

I had an ego death experience from a flying saucer chocolate bar a year ago, here’s my experience: (just to give some context I’m an experienced tripper with a fast metabolism and my go to psychedelic is golden teachers which is mild in nature regarding its psilocybin which is average .70%. I take 2.5 of golden teachers and have a mild trip, I didn’t know about other strands and higher potency until that flying saucer bar which is the most potent mushroom in the world with a more than double psilocybin content of that of golden teachers) I had a 4 gram chocolate bar and made plans to trip that night with the intention of playing the game with my brother. I ignorantly ate almost 2 grams of the bar thinking I was going to experience a similar trip with golden teachers. I had the game set up and I got myself a drink as the shrooms kicked in 15 minutes later, all is going good at first I could feel my perception change as I see patterns in everything, colors are more vibrant, and I can feel at higher frequency compared to before. Things took a wild turn when I looked at the ceiling and the patterns began to twirl like a dance. I thought it was strange because on golden teachers patterns would move slightly in a triangular pattern nothing more, but to see the patterns dance like that just completely caught me off guard. I felt the body high start to kick in and man I knew at that point I couldn’t sit down and play the game but I needed to find a bed. I’m sweating even though it’s cool in the house I turned my AC on full blast and made my way upstairs to my bed where I laid with nothing but shorts because of how hot it was. At this point of the experience everything came to life, I would watch objects in my room warp into other objects everything is moving I see fractals and geometric symbols in everything literally. The body high was only getting stronger and I felt almost completely relaxed, the anxiety flowing through me is overwhelming I didn’t want to trip anymore. My memories became distorted and I felt like I’m dying. I forgot who I am, that I have children, it’s like every memory connected to my current physical life and all concepts pertaining to it are being obliterated. I remember the lights going off and my room being dark and I felt like if I could close my eyes it will all go away and that’s when it happened…. The moment I closed my eyes, I saw a kaleidoscope of fractals and geometry that infinitely expanded within itself. I forgot how to breathe and died. I observed a flash of lightning ⚡️ followed by a whole light show and I’m in this void. At first I was floating looking around then I fell into infinity. As I fell in that void I saw lightning, and these immaterial beings that are so small and big I can’t accurately describe them using material words or symbols. I felt there presence and they felt mine we all stared at each other. I saw these dark figures that looked like something from stranger things. I’m everything and nothing at the same time. I could feel vibrations all throughout the void and even though I’m falling I felt like I am the void. It felt like i was in there forever as I continued to fall through. My memories slowly started to come back I began to remember that I have a body, I remembered how to breath again and I went through this portal and resurrected in my body while still seeing visuals and things of that nature. The body high began to fade slowly and I was able to move again. I realized once I gained the concoct of time back that I only peaked for 1 hour even though it felt like years in the void. I could describe how I felt with the emotions of fear and gratitude. I learned so much from this experience. I realized I wasn’t the ego being obliterated but the one consciously observing it. This life we live is precious and we should treat ourselves and each other with balance. Not love and positivity over everything but balance equilibrium. Creating a hierarchy of one emotion over the other will stall healing and spiritual growth. You must embrace them all equally.
